FTX Global - Night/Dusk Shots!

FSX/P3D. Iain Emms of Orbx has posted some new shots from FTX Global - the latest set illustrates city lighting in dusk and evening settings. The majority of shots are from the United States with one from Germany. Take a look inside.

Aerosoft Twin Otter - Icing and Livery Preview!

FSX/P3D. Aerosoft has released a very interesting Twin Otter screen capture illustrating the various stages of windshield icing! Plus, a preview shot of the British Antarctic Survey livery. Everything looking great so far, see inside for a closer look.

Carenado TBM ServicePack 1

FSX/P3D. So it seems the girl of my dreams came plagued with many issues that have been discussed here and on various forums. Carenado has just released the first service pack and by looking at the improved features list, I am already looking forward to service pack 2 as this doesn't seem to address some other issues I discovered . If you all can check it out and let us know how it worked out for you, i'll note my experience as well. She is so beautiful, just need the bells and whistles worked out...  Click below for a full list of the changelog.

AirDailyX First Look - Vidan Sonderborg X!

Please note, ground work is not yet complete and only a simple base has been used for these captures. Deutschland X now FTX compatible

FSX. FSDG Deutschland X is now compatible with Orbx FTX packages, has announced FSDG this morning. This allows you to fly - for instance - from EU England or Wales to Deutschland without resetting FTX.

Wing Flex.........................................

Rant/Editorial. Now, who hasn’t been halfway through a satisfying virtual flight, looked out the side window, noticed improperly simulated wing flex…and said, damn, my flight is ruined? My guess is that this has happened approximately “never” times. So, why is everyone so worked up about wing flex? For those of you that haven’t noticed, wing flex is becoming a very hot topic these days, at least here at ADX.

Vidan Design Sonderborg X Released!

FSX. Vidan Design has released Sonderborg X! The release includes a highly detailed rendition of Sønderborg Lufthavn/Sonderborg Airport (EKSB), 40/cm pixel aerial imagery covering the northern part of Kær Halvø, custom vegetation, custom general aviation AI traffic, and much more. Video - FSGRW Local Weather Phenomena!

Video. Recently, FS Global Real Weather version 1.7 was released which includes a very interesting feature, local weather phenomena. For example, Foehn weather is simulated at Innsbruck and special wind conditions at Madeira. Airports featuring special weather phenomena include LOWI, LPMA, EKVG, and LXGB. Charlotte FSX : a second one

FSX (FS9 already released). Ok, a second screenshot of Imagine Sim Charlotte KCLT. No special effect added, no Photoshop. The scenery might be released this week-end as already stated here. A great stop between South-East states (Florida, Georgia....), North-East (KJFK, KDCA, Washington Dulles, Philadelphia...even Chicago) and ST-Louis too or... Bermuda. Sorry D'Andre, mine would be likely to be released this saturday or even.... hush-hush.

T2G TLPC: Imminent release!

FSX. Here is another set of ADX Exclusives of George Charles in St. Lucia! Taxi2Gate TLPC is now on the final stretch for release within the next few days. Personally, I really enjoy Caribbean island hopping and hope all the airports in the region can be covered. Many already are. We are still waiting on a response if FS9 will be covered for those who have asked. Enjoy and stay tuned for our ADX FirstLook!

TAG - Making a Real World Difference

Actually Helping People. The Airport Guys have made a very generous offer to help those affected by the devastating tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. Basically, you donate some amount of money starting at ten bucks to the disaster relief fund, they give you free scenery. The death toll is expected to surpass 90 victims, including many children... I cannot describe how much respect I have for these guys trying to help out like this. Yes, I have made a donation myself, every little bit counts. See the offer inside.

Introducing: Emerald Scenery Design!

FSX. Fan of photoreal? Introducing Emerald Scenery Design. This is a team we recently cane across that is putting a lot of focus on photoreal landscapes. Their current projects put a lot of focus on islands in the Pacific. The plus for me, they hand place autogen on top of the photo images. The only thing to be desired perhaps, are images of a higher resolution.

So you want to go to Almaty?

FSX/P3D. We'll I suppose soon you will soon. AzuraFiles has just uploaded the latest screenshots and the renders look quite impressive. The enclosed shot shows the glass window renfers, however, the terminal will be completely composed of photoreal textures. And if I did not mention before, AeroFiles, is now AzuraFiles.

FSX. With yet another preview from VertigoStudios, this time it's the F4F Wildcat. The renders are already in advanced stage, looking forward to the interior renders as well. We'll keep you up to date on the development as it progresses.

Quality Wings Ultimate 146 Status Update

FS9/FSX. Quality Wings has posted a statement regarding the status of the third release stage (BAe146) of their Ultimate 146 Collection. Currently, only the Avro variant has been released. Basically, the project is delayed although the team is still actively working on the aircraft. There is no firm release date, however, the FSX version is currently wrapping beta testing. See inside for the developers statement.

29Palms to update Mykonos!

FSX/P3D. This is a great example of good support long after a product has been released. After the successful release of Skiathos, Lars is returning to Mykonos with an update patch coming soon featuring 3D night lighting, updated custom FSX ground-layer, full WoAI compatibility, and Vatsim/IVAO model support.  Good on ya!

MilViz Scenery?

Speculation. Hmmm, I wonder what they're up to over at Military Visualizations? The developer has issued a curious job posting via their Facebook page...a paid contract scenery designer... Interested to see where this leads, see the developers job posting inside.

First Renders - TAG Stanly CO. (Freeware)!

FSX/P3D. The Airport Guys have posted the first renders from Stanly County Airport (KVUJ), their in progress freeware project. Looks promising so far! Plus, the developer is now looking at 3D grass techniques, something I thought was missing from their previous sceneries! Take a look inside for the first project renders.

France VFR Montpellier : new preview!

FSX. Philippe, the designer working on 3D models, has updated his blog with new screenshots, showing off Latecoere hangars and buildings in Montpellier LFMT airport. According to France VFR, this airport will be released right after Photo Centre scenery. And... could be followed by Marseille and Bordeaux. Information to use with extreme caution since France VFR is working on billions of different projects.

PMDG 777 - Emirates Again!

FSX. PMDG Simulations has posted another Emirates Boeing 777 livery preview, this time with the caption "Bye bye Dubai...". The developer is certainly creating quite a stir with these preview releases... Take a closer look at the latest PMDG 777 Emirates livery preview inside as well as the previous Emirates preview from Friday.

ORBX CA-CBB7 Tipella!

FSX/P3D. Looks like another terriffic PNW scenery is on the way from the guys at Orbx! Tipella, is located in the backwaters in British Columbia and provides a challenging little gravel strip that bush pilots will love. ORBX will be releasing CBB7 as a freeware add on for small airport enthusiasts!

[FS APPS] Just came across this YouTube channel "FroogleSim" which is quite an interesting. But also, the host is a software developer and in particular, he has developed an OS app that seems quite interesting. tapCHECK is a much easier way to run through all your flight checklists.

FS Global Real Weather V1.7 Released!

FSX/P3D. FS Global Real Weather has released version 1.7! This is a major update to the previous version and includes simulation of several local weather phenomena such as Foehn weather at Innsbruck and special wind conditions at Madeira. Further,the update includes FS2004 compatibility, autostart functionality, and more. See inside for the change log.

FSDG-DEX North released!

FSX. FSDG has released via Simmarket it's Deutschland X North project for FSX. The rebooted project is presented in 3 separate packs. 1. Is the complete package. 2. Is the stand alone terrain package. 3. Is the landmark object / airports package. Be sure to read the detail carefully for each package to ensure which package is right for you. FS9/FSX. Two years after Eiresim, UK 2000's turn. And this time, a real tunnel under the taxiway. And the benefits (or not) of Orbx EU England surroundings. I always buy Gary's sceneries blind. Runway textures, lighting, the amount of details. Now, it's up to you to judge. Oh, and a small comparison with Eiresim Luton EGGW.

ADX First Look - MCA Designs NA Airstrips VL1

FSX/P3D. Here we are, our first look at MCA Designs' North America Airstrips Volume 1! We followed this development from the very early stages and have been quite eager to give it a go. This afternoon, we finally got our hands on the scenery package and I managed to find some time to complete an AirDailyX first look article.
