Aviasim Designs confirms...

AviaSim Designs has confrmed, April 4th, working on Salt Lake City airport (KSLC). They have already some materials to start this huge work. If this project goes to its term, it will be the first KSLC ported on FSX. http://aviasimdesigns.co.uk/?page_id=322

Flylogic Lugano : our hot test

FSX. After Switzerland Pro, jets and very small airfields, Flylogic is designing some of the best airports of the country ; Bern/Belp and then Altenrhein and now.. Lugano.

A new generation of PeopleFlow...

FSX. Heiko Glatthorn has unveiled new PeopleFlow 2 types, available in Monroe Firstair. Orbx gets to improve these animated folks better since static and dynamic aircrafts are absolutely realistic now. Otherwise, we will be like pilots lost in a cartoon ;) 

Milton Shupe! What he's been up to!

FS9/FSX. Good ole boy Mr. Milton Shupe has been busy. Very busy!! In the 2 pictures above you can clearly see what he is currently working on. Looks like the classic Lockheed Harpoon and a WIP of a completely new reworked version of his ever so popular De Havilland Dash 7. But do you know what eye popping toys he released this month...?

3D Automation alive in FS9

FS9. It's the little big things that make me smile when I see major developers continue to develop new parts for the old muscle car that is FS9. Well now, FranceVFR has rolled out their new 3D Automation technology embedded in their latest FS9 release Haute Normandy VFR. Lookin good. Lookin REAL good!

Is it the dusk of Flight1 ?

FS9/FSX. Since Airdailyx was found a year ago, the whole idea was to offer new critizism and "analyses" of the FS market. Who am i to judge about a work started by people 10 or 15 years ago. Steven Halpern is one of these pionneers and he kindly answered to my interview request. But the more i follow Flight1, the more i ask questions. ../..

FS9/FSX. Drzewiecki Design shows some FSX shots of Miami city. We saw a lot of day shots and some night shots of the airport, now my question is : how is the city center by night ? If i remember, Intersim first project had night textures on buildings which was a "first" compared with US Cities. Will this project have night textures ?

Nauru airport completed

FSX. Pacific Islands Sim has completed Nauru airport in Pacifica. Release imminent. The team will now resume its work on Xiamey airport, in China. Here are the last shots.

Miami baby!!

FS9/FSX. The Polish wizard is at it again! The KMIA looks very detailed for a "lite" version. Not bad, not bad at all. This project is really coming together! We are glad this project was rescued!

LHPR, another preview.

FS9/FSX. LHSimulations has released some new shots of LHPR. It's already proving to be more detailed then their Pecs scenery. And this is just the hangar! We are looking forward to their first payware project.

Milano Linate still progressing

FSX. Gianni Mantellini (ParthenoSim, Napoli airport) is showing more shots of its Milano Linate airport. As we know, very few editors have accepted to invest time and money in italian airport. This project is very worthy.

A_A cooking a small extension for Phuket

FSX. Jtanabodee is apparently working on a helipad, used for touristic connections around Phuket VTSP.  It's going to be a free update for Phuket airport customers.

Airdailyx has now reached 500 000 pages views. We have lows and highs, sometimes very few news to offer, sometimes there is too much. But we are dedicated. We will evolve and progress. Comics are still there but we need very good ideas to publish new ones. Its a hard job and we wish good luck to other FS blogs too ;)

FS9. As a fan of both FS9 and FSX, I use both simulators for different purposes. I see FSX as more of an Italian sports car while FS9 I see as more of a classic muscle car... Well time for a new look.

Orbx Swanson airfield : hot test

FSX. This is the first airfield for NA BLUE Pacific Northwest, in 2012. Tim Harris and Alex Goff's work. Technically ? Irreproachable. LeavesFlow, SnowFlow, PeopleFlow 2 included but... not really impressive. Better use your 44 % April discount on heavy airports (Melbourne, Cairns... ) or some famous american airports (Orca's, Skagit, Ketchikan..). And come back here once a service pack is released.

Wilco Publishing announced a release of its CRJ NextGen on March 30. But as usual with this editor, release dates are not that important. It's just a way to tease us, make some buzz. So this is another delayed project. They are now announcing a release date in Q2.. How comfortable !

FS9/FSX. Drzwiecki Design is still working on its Miami City, that will include a "lite" Miami airport. It will be easy to swap between this one and Latin VFR's KMIA. As says Stanislaw, Miami City is targeting the city first.

FSX. Devinci Design team has posted two similar screenshots of taxiways and lines. The ground work stage seems well advanced now.

Swanson airfield to exhibit SnowFLow

FSX. Orbx has created the product page of Swanson airfield (2W3). For the first time, an airfield will show the new SnowFlow feature, that is managing snow layers on home rooves. The project is in "late beta".
