Aerosoft To Publish ASDG Johannesburg X!

http://airdailyx.blogspot.com/2014/01/aerosoft-to-publish-asdg-johannesburg-x.html
FSX/P3D/P3Dv2. I've always thought that the whole Southern African region is way too neglected scenery add-on wise. So far NMG Trading have released quite a few airports, but the quality is just not comparable with the likes of Flightbeam Studios, FlyTampa and FS Dreamteam. ASDG have now announced that Aerosoft will be publishing their Johannesburg X development as Mega Airport Johannesburg, and looking at the renders below, this looks extremely promising!

ASDG have previously released Mohéli Bandar Es Eslam Airport on the Island of Mwali (Mohéli) in the Comores, as well as South Africa Vector 2013.

This really is fantastic news! The Witwatersrand region, including the area around O.R. Tambo International Airport, formerly known as Jan Smuts International Airport, is known for its late afternoon thunderstorms in summer, making arrivals a real challenge. I have many fond memories of flying into Johannesburg from Durban and Cape Town during such summer thunderstorms.

I really hope that the team will turn their attention to other South African airports once they complete Johannesburg X, Cape Town International and Lanseria Airport have always been very high on my wish list.

+1. And why even stop there with Cape Town...after all...they are called African Scenery Design Group and Africa's ripe for all sorts of great scenery pickings :-) So much fabulous, interesting and distinctive virgin territory and the more that gets developed, the more interesting it becomes, the more route options we'll get, the closer the various destinations, the more we'd fly there and the more we'd buy etc...a positive feedback cycle so to speak :-) Can't wait for a decent Jo'burg...and hopefully Cape Town etc. etc.
