I think is't for P3D not FSX. I read somewhere P3D supports DX11. FSX supports only DX9 and DX10.

wish they had more liveries available... no United rainbow or grey, no Southwest, no Aloha passenger. Looks like only one person is repainting so far. Too bad, it's a great plane!

The video description says works in DX9 or 10 mode in FSX as well as P3D. P3D isnt DX11 yet. V2 hasnt been released.

I quote this directly from the comments on the YT page:

"Works in FSX's DX9 and DX10 modes with a DX11 compatible GPU. Also works in P3D."

So all you need is a graphic card that supports DX11...

What non-sense is this with DX11?
there is no support for this version of DX in FSX or P3D.

Perhaps they are looking into the future with P3D V2? If that's the case, it's hardly nonsense, they are preparing their products for future capabilities. This community can be so short-sighted.

point taken..
would this mean that Prepar3Dv2.0 is actually closer than we thought?

I know LM has said that 2013 Q4 is the target, I have my doubts though, as we have heard nothing substantial so far as to features, etc apart from that it will be 64-bit and DX11-capable.

That depends what do you think as 'closer'. If you thought that they're gonna release V2 in 2015 or something yes, it's gonna be closer than 'you' thought.

I think V2 will be released in September or until (maximum) 2014 january
