PMDG 777-300ER: new shot!

FSX. With all the good news surrounding PMDG announcing their future move to Prepar3D, it's high time to head back and have a look at the progress on the continued 777 project. At present, the 777 is PMDG's most successful product to date and as I am sure Rob would tell you, it's also their most proud. The 777 good as it is, is not done yet! The 300ER is currently in development and we have 2 screenshots to show! Will they get it out in time for Santa to deliver all his goods? We'll see! On a side note, with having personally only discovered the FS9 PMDG 737, I am really looking forward to some fun time with the 777 and NGX in P3D. Oh wait. Did I say fun in P3D? No I didn't mean to say that! I meant to say, learning time. Yeah. Let's go with that. Whew!

I am still confused of P3D license. What license are most P3D users using?

Superb! While waiting there is a lot of practicing on the B77L yet to be done. Then it'll be great to fly the SIA flight I flew last month from BCN to SIN!

Nice! Bet that was a nice flight. What an airline! :-)

Looks lovely but as I haven't yet purchased the PMDG 777 yet, I'm going to have to wait until we have more info on the P3D v2 model as the last thing I want to do is purchase the FSX version now (which I had planned to do before this Christmas), just to find out I'd have to pay full price for the P3D v2 licence all over again shortly afterwards. As P3D is most likely the ideal simulator many of us wish to transition to at some point, there is simply no sense or incentive in me making this decision to buy a 777 only functional in FSX with no future capability in P3D with an exchange of licence facility or something, until that information is available. Especially since, when P3D does eventually go 64 bit, we'll most likely definitely need to have an upgraded model licence of the 777 to pay for then too, which at least doesn't seem as ridiculous a notion to the same extent. Hope PMDG comes through on this as they have done so far so the further investments can continue in their very good products without wasting money. It would be nice to learn to simulate the 300ER SIA international routes to and from Singapore Changi indeed. Hopefully not too long to find out what the future holds. Fingers crossed for a go ahead over the next month or so. That's all I'm waiting for personally. In the mean time, there seems to be a mighty battle of seriously impressive environment and weather engines about to be unleashed. What quality we will see. But what to do? Which software or combination of software to go for? I want the turbulence of Active Sky Next but the textures of REX 4 but the multi-display support and head movements of Opus but the ease of use and fast performance of FS Global Real Weather. What a bloody great dilemma!!!

Looks awesome! :D

Hope it has taxi cams. If not then it'll still be awesome!

Can you make a topic about the current and upcoming support about P3D v2?

Really can u get an source on that? Don't think it has outsold the NGX. IMO the 777 pre-hype was significantly smaller then for the NGX!

post a new 747X pic.

Sure was! Although 12 hours, it "flew by" :D SIA is the best in my books after flying with the major European airlines and some Canadian/American airlines.

I couldn't agree more Andreu!

Sheer luxury and the most amazing flight attendants :-) I did the LHR-SIN 13 hour route this year too and I only wish it was longer :-) Best airline I have flown to date, as things are at present. Glad to hear you had the same pampered experience :-)
All the best mate,
Sid
