Newest project from Alabeo is....

FSX/P3D ...A C172 Cutlass!  Perhaps this may seem peculiar in the wake of the epic A2A 172 trainer but let's stop and think for a minute:  This 172 will be of a vintage that nearly all real world pilots will have had time in and likely feature that old style Cessna panel we all love- you know, the sun faded plastic, faded blue ADI... not to mention a carburetor!  Ok, so most of us haven't flown the retract version, I dare say that a 'vintage' 172 of modern FSX modeling standards is still missing from FSX but the void may be getting filled shortly!

Looks great, lets hope they model it like the old Cutlass including the radios and gauges from that era.

I'm sure they will - I flew one in the 80s which was brand new back then. It was a lot more money for an extra 10kts cruise speed. I'm still waiting for an Alabeo 207 skywagon - that would be the biz!!!

A C207, now you're talking!

I think it would have been cooler to go with a 177 RG, but the Cutlass certainly is an interesting bird. My old club has one for complex training.

I have a lot of fond flight memories in the 172RG. Looking forward to this aircraft.
