Fly to Guam... for free!

FSX. Morten van der Linden has released v3 of his Guam X scenery and not only does it look fantastic, it is absolutely free!  The scenery covers Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport (IATA: GUM, ICAO: PGUM), and boasts some pretty impressive features like custom runway textures, detailed paint markings, custom buildings and plenty of foliage.  The details aren't just air side either as Morten included a detailed car park, access road and pick up/drop off lane.  If that weren't enough, the custom night lighting is top notch as well.  All in all, a lot of detail but no worries: Guam X is available in a lite version in the event you need to trim a little overhead to get those extra FPS.

You can get Morten's scenery from the Avsim library.  Just look for either guam_x_v3.zip or guam_x_v3_lite.zip and be sure to pick up the small patch to correct the ILS frequencies.

Wow! Another great destination in Asia-Pacific...and the best thing, its free! That looks very decent indeed for freeware...very well done and a big thank you to the scenery developer (Morten)!

I think I downloaded this one, haven't installed yet, but looks pretty nice from those shots. :)

Really great to see freeware developers still producing good work. Version 2 of Morten's scenery looked great, but suffered from OOMs - I think because of some really large textures (there was a thread over at Avsim on this). Does anyone know yet if version 3 resolve this?
