FSX/P3D. The "Diesel-8" is a beast of a machine and one that I have flown all over the world........in fs9. I spent many happy hours smoking my freeware DC-8 along the airways and have been anticipating this plane with baited breath. It's a big manly plane built for manly men to do manly things with. So all you old iron fans get your respirators on, 'cause it's time to belch some heavy particulates into the air.
D'Andre: Hoff beat me to this post. But I'll add my thoughts here:
Whoa I can't wait to get my hands on this classic beauty! If I were wealthy enough, I would compete against John Travolta's QF707 with my own fully restored TWA DC-8! he only difference though, I would fit that baby with the fatter CFM turbofans! Hint, hint to the developer! I will be getting mine, Hoff will write up the review. The question is, are you getting yours? And it's about damn time by the way that we got a DC-8!

I'm going to wait for your review. If your opinion is to go ahead, I'll buy this beast because I love these old smokemachines.
I bought it... it's a beauty for $29. flight deck looks good. Seems to be a bit of a frame rate hog but I was flying out of KLGB and the LA area is heavy on frames. Seems to handle well. No wing view from the flight deck is no bueno however.
Quite a few bugs in this one by all accounts. Autopilot and HSI gremlins as well as many switches that don't work. Lack of wing and eng views and no cabin (not that I have an issue with that one). Might pay to sit this one out a while and see what gets resolved.
But....without a GPS, how will my fellow millennials and I find our way around!?

Learn to fly like a real pilot ;-)

As a "real" pilot, I can tell you that I mostly use GPS. VORs are going the way of the dodo bird.
