TWE Floater is looking great!

FSX/P3D. Are your rubber duckies ready to fly? Because it's time to get wet! Mathijs has shot off the latest round of shots of the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended floater variant and it is looking absolutely marvelous! Release is just around the corner. Question tough, if someone can please correct my ignorance. Doesn't the Twin Otter floater version have a different nose than the wheeled version?

Regarding the nose it´s true that until some years ago only the shortnosed version was certified to wear floats.
Thus also the DHC6-300 with floats had the short nose.

The version we have made is the DHC-300 with Whipline floats, which is certified for the longnose variant.

Hope that helps :)

Most Twin Otters on floats are the 100 series which has a shorter rounder nose. The one in these screenshots is a 300 series which is less common on floats, but there are a few around (most 300s i see are on amphibs)...I believe they're also certified on seperate floats than the 100 series (?).
