I swear I already have this aircraft.

I would not swear on that if I were you...

And yet another Carenado glass cockpit attempt which will fail quality wise. I'd be much happier if they decided to fix up their past products instead of a constant release of questionable new ones.

They should get together with Flight1 on integrating their stand alone G1000 Student Sim with the Carenado models. Both companies VC G1000's have issues and leave out features of their real world counterparts.

Guess the FS community needs another C208.........

Screenshot aficionados everywhere will be excited. Simulation fans will be disappointed....

Okay, we get it now. Stopping discussion on this here.

The main thing that puts me off on Carenado's G1000's is the funky unrealistic graphic gradient on the PFD, and the jumpy MFD moving map. Its hard to come home Sunday afternoon after renting a G1000 equipped Cessna, then settling in for an evening of simming looking at the Carenado G1000. Will probably skip on this one.

Wait, didn't they release one a year ago? Or is there something different with this one?

And I already bought this many moons ago, whats changed?? is this a free update? why do we need more 208?

Just asking

We are not going to do all the work for you Mark. At some point you need to do a little research.

But I know you LOVE doing that D'Andre, so why should I bother?

You are right! Effective now, I am taking a 3 month break from the blog. How is that for a chop?

So it will be basically a brush-up of this: http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php?accion=product&correl=70
With their existing G1000 panel incorporated?
I'll pass....
I used to like Carenado, but recently they are turning into a high-production and reuse old tricks kind of company.

Woo Hoo! Now I can be like John Ponts in Alaska!

If I may add my two cents...yes, this aircraft has been done before but not like this. As you can see from the screens, it is virtually a complete glass cockpit. I personally love the C208, as I own the original and I do love what Carendo puts out for GA aircraft which are more realistic feeling than the default FSX aircraft. I look forward to the new release to see just how much better it is than the original. For the record, I do not Facebook or Twitter so I guess I am SOL on keeping up to date, but I am a patient man. :)

All this is, is the 208B with a pseudo-G1000 upgrade. The problem is , their G1000 is extremely unrealistic as already pointed out above.

Carenado could have made this way more interesting by making an amphibian version available. Why they haven't thought of this sure beats me.

I'm one of those people who posts a question comment then Googles to find out. I don't know why I do this.

But I got it.

Carenado could make their panel flexible enough to add the MindStar G1000. But, they won't. So, nothing to get excited about here.

I have read and use,d to belive about add on,s taking ages to complete Carenado seem to knock one out every month, graphic.s look wonderful and then lots of people complain about system depth ,To me they seem all the same just not diff enough to make me want to purchase,I would rather spend my money with milviz some great aircraft being produced by that developer
