A Hind-D? Colonel, what's a Russian gunship doing here?!
I always get bored with military aircrafts, choppers included. I mean, you have them in games like BF3 and ARMA so it's like there's no novelty here. :\
It's also because fsx is majorly a civil aviation platform. With that in mind, I really look forward to Alabeo's R66. I hope they continue the project once their Tomahawk is released.
But in those games, the aircraft are far from full systems and the focus of those games is not on aircraft. What would add to projects like this is a level of combat functionality within FS itself, perhaps something a future platform can incorporate so that if you want to simulate combat with full systems procedures in an aircraft, you can do so much more realistically than in ARMA or Battlefield.
