You have some news for us? If not then...

Sid said...

Hey DAndre,

Sorry to sound so stupid but is this Milford Sound that you're about to review or something else I'm not aware of? If it is, I for one am looking forward to the review as I've been interested in it for a while now and can't decide if I should get it yet. Maybe I've lost the plot and misunderstood the whole post. Any news on anything flight sim or aviation is welcomed this end anyway. And are you guys gonna review the new VTBS by any chance...I'd be keen to know how it fairs up too. No worries if not.

Cheers,
Sid

I dont get all the hate towards ORBX :/

Moe Lester said...

Well it says news breaker at the top so...

Sid said...

Yes but it says test and reviews to the right also and I can see reviews for all sorts of products, even some great hardware that I actually purchased so...as Jap says, it still doesn't explain all the hate towards Orbx held by a few.

Anonymous said...

The hate comes from that product that causes massive blurry problem......

What massive blurry problem?

Hey Sid,

Yes that is Milford Sound. I installed a few days ago along side FTX ans GZ Nelson. So far, im extremely impressed with it but still much to test and I already ran into some issues that took me the better half of last evening to sort out. But usually as reviews go, the product really has to move me.

This one had me at first sight.

FTX England was made by SIM720 https://www.facebook.com/Sim720?fref=ts

So... One product not made by Orbx causes blurries for a few people. Flight simmers really are nuts

Pictures are stunning - and I love the dense vegetation - looks very life-like. What weather program are you using?

DAndre Newman said...

Hi xwind,

I use REX-HD Essential Plus with Overdrive for P3D.

Just a sneak-peak!

Todd said...

I think it's FSX that causes the blurries for some people, not the scenery. Get P3D. You won't regret it.

Oh, and to the very first poster, the reason you FTX on here almost every day is because they are a large development group that is constantly releasing new, high quality scenery. If FlyTampa did the same, then you'd probably see a lot of their scenery, too.

Hey DAndre,

Thanks for getting back. I'd really like to get FTX NZSI set up with GZ Nelson and Milford Sound in the next few days so I'm looking forward to hearing all your thoughts and experience with it, good and bad, regardless. Cheers for sharing. Will keep my eye out.

Sid

DAndre Newman said...

Yeah, i'll depart from Nelson since it's the only other payware airport in the region...

Sid said...

Well said Todd! That says it nicely. Simple really isn't it? By the way, replied to your post back in the Northern cal article. Don't know if you saw it but wanted to hear your thoughts on Opus.

Regards,
Sid

Sid said...

Great DAndre! Thanks! Sounds like the perfect scenic flight and perfect review (for my needs anyway). Nice one!

Oops, accidentally posted my reply to you as a reply further up the chain in this article in my conversation with DAndre. If you return, see above Todd.

Cheers,
Sid
