The perfect airport for a short TBM 850 flight to Athens or Heraklion ;-)

Is the runway long-enough for the Majestic Dash-8 Q400 to land or take-off?

Absolutely

I have to disagree here, There's no way a Q400 can get off that airport with any kind of economic load. To be honest I don't think the Q300 can do it either, and OA uses the -100s to get in there. You have to understand that the Dash 8 was never designed as a STOL aircraft, because that's the job of the Dash 7.

Here's another question - Does the real airport have any runway lighting? I can't find any charts online and this place looks very much like daytime VFR-only.

Runway edge and PAPI lights are fully installed in this airport. Same applies to the short taxiway edge lights and apron flood lights, just like you see in our images.

The frequency of their operation however is debatable :)

Many thanks for the reply, it looks very unsafe to land there during night-time, especially with the possibility of windshear from that cliff face. Oh well I guess it's Greek (or German) taxpayer money at work.

I'll definitely buy this once it becomes available, just to complete my little Greek airports collection.
