So we now know what's in the hangar. WTF??

FSX/P3D. So uh... yep um... So we figured out whats in that hangar.. and uh... well it's not a Star Destroyer but... hmm... well perhaps it should be. This will be an interesting development without a doubt. It's not a plane, not a helicopter, hell, I don't know what it is but perhaps another of one of Hitler's ideas maybe... that or something from Mars. When you see it...

Ughh...why? No interest in this. If they want to do experimental or unique WWII German aircraft, I'd be much more interested in the Ho-229, Me-163, or Me-262.

Lame....

Just because YOU have no interest you think no one else does too?, how small minded and self-centered can you be???

Very unique project choice indeed!

How small-minded and self-centered can YOU be by not letting others post their opinions without jumping on their back?

I'm sorry, I don't see very many people at all really interested in sinking money into this. I stand by what I said, if their them was experimental German WWII-era aircraft, the Ho-229 and Me-163/262 would have been FAR better choices with more interest (although, I think this category as a whole is rather limited as well, but definitely better than what they've decided to build). The business case for this project is extremely limited at best, IMO, and all you have to do is open your eyes to realize the vast majority of people are not going to want to spend cash on this at all. At best, it's a cool freeware idea. Keep calling it small-minded and self-centered, but if that's the best you can come up with without seriously and logically thinking out the business case for it, and then belittling others for having their opinions, then you are a very small person. That's all I have to say to you.

My my you have quite the opinion, you must also be a Captain of a Very Important Aircraft too I guess?

I think perhaps you forget that things for FSX is considered a hobby to mostly all flightsim developers, and as such making and creating things that interest us what we do, its called 'creative urge', at the end of the day it is what keeps us inspired.

Yes it is small-minded and self-centered of you to 'shoot' down anything >>YOU<< consider not relevant, Like my mother always said.. never never criticize anything unless you can do it better, and even then if you can do better... you would do even better to keep your opinion to yourself, its actually considered polite and gentleman-like.

You should try it one day sweetheart :)

LOL!

This is the internet buttercup, a place designed around opinions!

Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt Area51's ability and quality, it's just very bad business idea. FSX is a hobby, but the vast majority of people are not going to sink money into something they are going to fly in sim only once. It's not an attempt to shoot down Area51, and there is nothing impolite or ungentleman-like about stating one's opinion on the viability of the product, history is full of that, this community is full of that.

But obviously I'm not going to get through to you since you can't discern between someone bashing the quality of the product and someone criticizing the business case behind the product. They ARE two separate things, and not once did I bash Area51's workmanship. It's called REALITY.

You should try joining it one day sweetheart :)

My opinion is still ''lame". And of course it is My opinion, and I believe a comments section of a blog is intended as a place for readers to express opinions.
