FS9/FSX. Well, I’m hard at work at my upcoming LatinVFR San Diego
(KSAN) review for both FSX and FS9. As most of you know, reviews take a substantial
time commitment and the final copy is still a ways away. However, as I know
there is significant interest in this scenery I thought I’d post
some review teaser captures. These shots are directly from my in progress review, unedited, and exactly what I’m seeing
in the simulator. Check them out, and if you have any special requests for the review,
speak now…
Note: These shots do not constitute an opinion negative or positive, simply what I am seeing.

Shot n. 5 is amazing!
Nice sky. Is it a REX review ?
FlyTampa was too late. And we could read several times on the forums that this airport will be a success due to its beautiful location and they were not interested because the legacy version did not sell too well. And now this version seems to sell very well.
That's actually just the default FSX weather engine...not REX.
LOL, he would have gotten an installation error if it was REX, silly.
Is this any better than the latinvfr one?
I think its not too late for FlyTampa to reboot KSAN. LatinVFR version is pretty good buts theres much room for improvement.
I meant his screen shots are all of the sky, as if not wanting to show the scenery.
Although I appreciate your comments, I do not agree. The two terminal shots are somewhat focused on the horizon. However, there is still a clear view of applicable terminal detail which is the purpose of the shots. Evidently, the purpose is not to display the entire aircraft or significant amounts of bare tarmac, the inevitable result if the angle is focused lower down for this type of shot. So given the choice, I chose sky. For full context, and "non sky focused" shots, you will have to read the full review. Mini rant over.
I'm glad I waited for this instead of other scenery developed for the area....
