FSX. We first introduced Brian Winton to you all a short while ago with his freeware San Diego V1 scenery. We are aware of the issues such as memory leaks etc.. Well now the payware version has just been released and Brian has assured us that all the issues have been ironed out with this version. Also, the company name to look for in the future is Scenic Utopia!

The very low resolution ground texture ruins the good scenery design in this case.
Designed for use with Megascenery! :)
I think the screenshots were taken with megascenery. A custom ground texture would be a better solution in my opinion, and the island seems too sparse for me. The buildings are especially beautiful btw.
The island is mostly housing unless you would like to see a more built up Naval Amphibious base or KNZY...
The only drawback to building up the island more is that with it's proximity to downtown, it would be almost like having two centers competing for processing power.
I'll play around with some configurations for it though. :)
I don't see your name as a customer Richard, did you even try out the product first...?
It looks great under my config. I have megascenery socal with full autogen to fill up the houses.
I don't want to criticize the product, i just judge it from the screenshots. I'm even not not interested in this region, i just said those two things, that hurt my eyes. Have fun flying over San Diego my friends!
One other thing to the island: sparse was not the right word for it, flat is the correct one (sorry i'm not native english). My critique was mainly for the textures that are independent from the developer, so the developers and the ground textures quality doesn't match ;)
But sir, the island or more accurately, the isthmus is a shallow flat region...
"Originally Coronado was separated from North Island by a shallow channel called the Spanish Bight. The development of North Island by the United States Navy prior to and during World War II led to the filling of the Bight in 1943, combining the land areas into a single body. The Navy still operates Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI or "North Island") on Coronado. On the southern side of the town is Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, a training center for Navy SEALs and SWCC. Both facilities are part of the larger Naval Base Coronado complex."
Yes, you're right, but what I want to say is there are not enough autogen houses on this island, and the ground texture is low quality. To be precise: I don't know, at which settings were these shots made, but I think, it was maxed out. (If i were a dev I surely would do that). If not, than it's my fault.
