FSX/P3D. I am now at the point where I would blindly buy anything Misha develops. His attention to detail and eyecandy is supreme in everything he does and he just keeps getting better! As for where his next destination? He is not telling and as much as I am dying to know where it is? I almost don't care. It's in the PNW, it's Misha, it already looks great, SOLD! What more info do you need? Oh yeah, need the airport code at some point to land there...

Another fine piece of ORBX work.
BTW - Any chance you can update the billboard?
The billboard and developer list will be updated on the new site. No point in doing any of that here.
I'm not sure where to post this comment, so I'll do it here. I'm NOT trying to be a jerk or anything. But I have reservations when coming here to "learn" about the new FS releases. I think I see what is going on, and I understand it. How can a site, which gets ad money from developers, really be neutral in its reviews? All I see on here are glowing reviews for EVERY product which hits the market. Is there a conflict of interest? Sure there is. If this site has criticism, the ads won't come. I have NO IDEA on the inter workings or finances of this site, but it seems apparent there is a conflict of interest, and the end consumer only gets what the developers want them to know about their products, coming through this site. I've bought a lot of junk products, they ARE NOT ALL GOLDEN like is being reviewed on here. Conflict of interest, big time. I welcome a response, and if De'Andre boots me, well, that just tells you things.
Will you criticize a developer's product who pays for advertising on this site?
You are not the first to accuse this and the last person who made such accusations did not actually read my reviews. I am under this impression with you as well Ray. I do not summarize what was good vs bad at the end of my reviews like most reviewers do on other sites as this writing style allows the reader to skip the entire review and get to the point.
My reviews actually require the reader to READ the entire review in order to get my full opinion and findings. The majority of ADX readers and developers are just fine with my writing style and I have never had someone come back and say my review misrepresented a product. In fact, many of my reviews have led to the developers going back and making changes to their products.
As your accusation of a conflict of interest, I honestly really don't care that you feel that way. Serving the development community is my primary purpose. I have stated this many times before. It is my position to encourage them and promote them. Serving the end-user community is a by-product of this. I put in a lot of time and effort to do the work I do here because I enjoy it and I am very passionate about it. I'm not getting rich.
Advertising revenue here is extremely little compared to other sites and I happen to earn a very lucrative salary working a full-time job. ADX doesn't pay my bills. Funds are going to the bills of supporting the new site and to pay developers to develop mobile apps and write code which is expensive.
As for your last question, go and read every review I have ever written on ADX and your question would be answered. Clearly you are NOT reading my reviews and it's comments like yours that are annoying. What are YOU doing to support your community? What reviews are YOU writing? Why not step up and create change instead of sitting there and whining.
And finally, if you don't like the way things work here, there are many other "FS News" sites out there to get your info from. I won't loose any sleep if you choose not to return.
As for the junk products you claim to have purchased based on reviews here, please list those "junk products" for me. Tell me how I have misrepresented any product. I wait your response.
Thank you for the response. I'm really not accusing you. Just wondering how its done.

OK, the conflict of interest "accusation" was legitimate and you basically said what I hoped you would not say and proved it t all there as you typed, "Serving the development community is my primary purpose." I really don't have to say much after that.
Really, I'm not trying to pick a fight. And , I don't have the time to read ALL of your reviews.
I like this site, was just wondering how come all the reviews are so glowing for every product. You just typed that you served the development community. No mention of the end user. So be it. I'm OK with that.
Thank you for responding.

Once you free this blog from commercial interests, then it will be fair.
Very interesting that you continue to run your bullshit but yet you still refuse to answer my questions. At this point all I see it trolling from you so ill refrain from publishing any further comments from you.
Again, if you don't like it, go to another site. Now that's fair.
One thing I'd like to ask is why people really like buying these very small out of the way (though I gladly admit they're very nicely rendered) airports? Usually I spend about 5% of my time on the ground when using a flight simulator... It's a flight simulator, or about 20 mins in an ngx/ 777 or something.
What is it? I feel like I'm missing out!
Check this one out, D'Andre!

@super: I think the more realistic the better. Very few people enjoy flying into default airports. Speaking for myself, when landing and taking off, i get so caught up in the workload that I almost forget it isn't real. So the more realistic, the better I enjoy the simulation. It's like interactive artwork. It looks good and feels good. As for small and out of the way, I learned long hand that flying into airports like this can be even more challenging and much more fun than landing a 777 at JFK. How I wish I had been more open minded to VFR simming much earlier on...
@ Superdelphinus , As you may enjoy long flights with the T7 and NGX, Some of us really enjoy VFR flying and looking out the window and enjoying the scenery. Hands on flying. With the Jets you fly, no much to do after takeoff, the computer does the rest. I too have big jets too but some times low and slow is way want to fly, To each their own I guess.
Might be really cheesy but sometimes I like to use BOB and walk around these smaller airfields. Hear the birds chirping, animals flowing, and think back to the days of FS98. Man we have it good!
Yeah I do more vfr than ifr, was just using the heavies as an example where I might spend a bit more time at an airport. To be fair I have bought the Southampton one, which I think is brilliant. I sort of get it for the bigger airports (I also have dubai, heathrow, Manchester and gatwick), it's more these really tiny ones that is probably only ever go to once if at all. Maybe I'll get a couple...
