FS9/FSX/P3D. Gary has published the first WIP screens of his Heathrow V3 rework, showing the new T2 and many improvements to the grand UK2000 version of this iconic airport. The race is on to see which one is released first: UK2000's V3 or sim-wings/Aerosoft. This is going to be a toughie for me, choosing between the two.....on one hand I'm a loyal fan of Gary's work, on the other hand, sim-wings' modeling of the surrounding area will add so much to the approaches and departures (when it's not foggy).......I see a major dilemma in my future.

It will boil down to performance. The last time around Gary won.
I find those pictures a bad way of marketing this Mega Airport. Aliasing, jagged lines and low textures everywhere. I'll wait for proper nice images!
Dat anti-aliasing.
lol.. looks awesome but I'll wait till both Heathrow's (UK2000 / SimWings) are done then decide.
A bit hard to judge from these shots... lack of aa, terrible compression as well. They do not act as the best preview shots. Therefore, until proven otherwise, I think the Aerosoft version is looking better.
These are obviously FS9 screens, and a work in progress. We all like to see how products are coming along on from our favorite developers, so lets not be too hasty in judgement from these initial pics and be thankful for a sneak peak.
Gary has never been able to take proper screenshots of his work and I agree, these do not show the product in a positive light. With that said, all of Gary's work is usually top notch so I am not at all one bit concerned about the end results here.
This is why we conduct the ADX FirstLook! Articles so people can get a much better idea prior to purchase. Speaking of... I need to get back to Oslo!
Nice! What about P3D V2?
Yeah, as DAndre states, Gary has never had very good screenshot representation of his work, but from my experience the scenery has always surpassed that of Simwings. Time will tell here, but in the past Gary's work is better looking and better performing.
