Carenado B1900D Update!

FSX/P3D. I was truly hoping this baby would be ready by Christmas, but clearly Carenado have different plans. Will it be a New Year's Day release? Hmmm... in the mean time, the team is showing off the night lighting system, exterior and very impressive main VC panel. Have a look! Hope all of you are having a great holiday!

This looks good apart from the fact that Carenado keep showing the main panel with the emergency lighting instead of standard night lighting as can be seen here:

Here some reference how Flight Safety International simulator shows the night lighting panel on a 1900D:

well no mater what they show it looks so nice i also hoped it was out.. but when thats said I prefer a project thats not rushed out.. As there is no joy in, just getting a visualy beauty.. the plane also have to feel like the actual plane in all fases right from the AP to the feel of the joystick/yoke of the given plane.. as i feel some companys care more about the visual then how it fly.. and that can just be me but its the plane we want to fly right? not a demonstration version for commercial costumers in a show room.. as then it isen´t a simulation anymore.. as the visual often takes a greate deeal off memory and such and might get the sim to it´s limits.. better to have less visual and more fun to fly.. as i often got a caranado plane of the latest and fly it a few times and stop using it.. not the same whit the older projects there i feel the love in the plane making and such.. ofcause more vissuals would be grate but you got the point..
by the way hoping for a FMS thats fully working..

@Wisper:

Carenado have confirmed the 1900D will have a fully functional FMS.

They fixed the lights! My biggest complaint with the King Airs is the emergency panel lights......now it looks like we can turn them off. At least for the 1900. Service packs for the King Airs? Very excited about this plane.

I've been in a lot of B1900Ds and I see the blue lighting just like they show, at least on the ground while servicing them. It's very distinct. I think they captured it well. Excited for this one!

The emergency (blue) lights are tied to the hot battery bus, they can be turned on with ship/external power off. But they are way too bright to fly with....unless you have to. There is separate -dimable- glare shield lighting that is a normal color, but I don't think it's modeled here. I'm just glad they made the emergency lights switchable. Whew.

The PMDG 1900D featured the blue lighting exclusively. At least, like you say, it appears it can be turned off.

I'm really interested in what this FMS is going to do...
