Milviz Bell 407 update!

FSX/P3D. And it's about damn time. 2 helicopters I must have before years end are the Alabeo R22 and Milviz Bell 407. This project is a very long time in the making but based on the screens we have seen over the last 8 months, the quality and visual features are very impressive. If you are a fan of Eagle Rotorcraft, you should know this team also has a big hand in the 407's development. But enough of my rambling and on to the shots!

I wish Milviz could help Razbam up their texture game, these look so much better and advanced than the Razbam Metroliner textures.

You need to see the textures in the VC of the Metroliner - as good if not better than Milviz or any other developer.

I heard somewhere that some of the Razbam and Milviz texture work is done by the same artist (I think it was the DCS forums. The guy's name is RAZBAM-Cobra).

Yeah but it won't fly as an real heli, if u only want eye-candy so be it, but for me it's worthless piece of junk....real heli FDE? DCS World is the place!

Then go fly in DCS. For the fans of FS I am sure it will do just fine.

But you do want an real as possible FDE when flying an airplane? or would you settle for the defolut FDE in say PMDG NGX? or MJQ400?

I think if FS products are not good enough for you, then don't buy them. Stick to your game of choice. For the rest of us these will do just fine.

There is always HTR which can make a heli fly as good as the ones in DCS.

I do fly FSX more than DCS! But people really get the wrong feedback from flying helis in FSX that's not at all how they behave IRL & it's supposed to be an SIMULATOR right...well for helis it is not.

Unfortunately HTR does not change behaviors like translational lift, vortex ring state, translating tendency, retreating blade stall, blowback, tail rotor stall etc..!

This is not correct HTR does simulate all this, check the docs (and try it out yourself).

I actually wrote the HTR code...
