Jerdoo over NYC-X!

FSX. ADX resident FS videographer Jerdoo has uploaded his experiences over Drzewiecki Design's New York City X project! As always Jerdoo does a great job with his films, not too much editing or camera shaking. One of the few who have been able to get this FS video production thing right. There is a reason so many developers look to him for video promotions.

ADX, do you have a release estimation for NY airports? If yes, can you put it in your billboard?
Thanks.

Pretty decent video, although for me the blur fades got to be a bit much after a while. Moreover, even with a well done video it emphasized how the scenery seems to look worse the closer you get to it. From a distance it shows promise, but the closer you get the more it falls short. Just my two cents worth.

Ok I will update it again later but for now here you go for everything to be released from the team thus year:

July - Polish Airports vol.1 (version 3, major payware update, 50% discount for those who had the previous version) -> for FS9

August - New York City, New York Airports
September - EPWA Warsaw Chopin Airport, Polish Airports vol.1 for FSX

End of the year - EETN Tallinn

Actually the transition blurs did get to me after a while. Some longer shots between takes i would have prefered too.

I think this looks stunning. It obviously cant be beautiful modelling and texture work for an area this big - it would just crash instantly. I think work like this in a sim like P3D V2 with hopefully 64bit architecture shows a heck of alot of promise.

Sorry to crush your hopes but V2 will all be about DX11. 64-bit is merely a future wish of P3D. Still leaps and bounds ahead of FSX, however!

Ill settle for DX11 - thats already a massive improvement! :)

We have it on very good authority that LM is slaving on the next version of P3D. All I can say at the moment.

thats really good to hear! :)

Hi,

What do you mean by LM ?

I believe DAndre is referring to Lockheed Martin.

I just can't wait.

GPU will be way more used than it is now.

We should finally have a correct sim.

It still makes me a little bit upset that airdailyx "supported" that the new freeware World Trade One and surrounding buildings was sold to DD design. At least it would have been nice if the new buildings would also have been sold seperately. There are people who want the PMDG MD11 with NYC which is not possible with DD NYC due to OOMs even in DX 10.
