Inside Twotter's cabin !

FSX/P3D. Mathijs Kok (Aerosoft) has posted new shots of the Twotter X this morning. Really nice insights of the cabin and seats. (Good) work in progress.

I don't think that the Twin Otter has any wingflex, not even the real one has it I think. Correct me if I am wrong.

Wow, the wingflex joke never gets old, if you are in elementary school.

you oughta know :)

Agreed, but have you not noticed many here behave like they are in elementary school? It no longer surprises me that a large chunk of this community are the most immature brats I've seen in any gaming community. Dumb commentary with demanding and hostile attitudes towards developers (no wonder the dev pool is getting smaller and smaller) and little to no support of each other and the greater community as a whole.

That said, I very much look forward to the Twin Otter and only hope I have the funding available to be a day one customer!

Glad Old Man and the Sea was able to help prove my point...

Well said Jack. I agree with you entirely! No wonder many customers and mature members of the community don't bother with posting on forums or here. We as a "greater community" are the only losers from all this hostility but they don't see how much further along things would be and how many more quality add-ons we'd be enjoying by now if there was more support and respect for each other and the developers and if they'd grow out of elementary school levels of intellect and deceit.

Its not restricted to here either...I'm sure you'd agree, it applies across the board. I've seen things from borderline ugly racism here and elsewhere to extreme cheating in Flightbeam polls to childish threats and assumptions to all sorts of disgusting, ugly behaviour by these people and a laughable pretence that the whole community wants the same airports, sceneries and aircraft and nothing else.

They know who they are. The bottom line is none of this speaks of civilised or mature segments of society. Worse, they think what they do helps them get what they want...instead its always counter-productive in the end with lower sales for developers, more developers forced to leave, less add-ons, much lower growth of markets and new markets, rampant distrust and hostility everywhere in the community. Not the friendliest and cohesive community to say the least at this time, just self-destructive and shame on us all. Anyway...its just sad. Hope for better days one day. Happy Canada Day to all Canadians!

Yes, it's not just limited to ADX, it's unfortunately a problem across the whole community. And it couldn't come at a worse time when we should all be more united and supportive of each other, seeing as our hobby is on the brink of falling apart as we know it. Astounding really, when you look at it.

DAndre Newman said...

You know Jack, maybe the community is just getting younger and younger. I can't really explain it...

Parents buying the stuff.. I don't know.

Jack said...

Maybe, and that's probably the most vocal and impatient group. Nonetheless, when behavior like that goes on, it's counter-productive, as Sid mentioned.

Sid said...

Agree with you both Jack and DAndre, entirely! That might go some way to explaining things but as Jack says, the hobby is in fragile times and really needs to be looked after by all involved I feel...and needs to grow to any potential new markets opening up slowly that would have it just to bolster it, if you ask me, which I know nobody did :-)Inclusivity and community spirit was never needed more!

The wingflex joke doesn´t bother me.

I kind of start to liking it, cause it highlights the stupidity of some other posts done by some immature members of the community.

I agree that the tone around the FS community has become immature and that a growing number of "wannabe super knowledgable pilots" think they know better how to develope addon aircraft.

But I´m still sure that a good bunch of guys and gals who actually are pleased, though with a healthy amount of critic, still forms the majority of this community.

This at least still makes it worth as developer to put effort into producing new content for FS.

In essens - what people don´t like, they don´t have to buy.

The funny thing i,s that we often see the very same people, who give heavy critics to the previews of our product, appear as customers having bought the product, allthough they clearly stated that they didn´t like it and then afterwards keep downrating and flaming that product.

For me THATS a weird hobby.

Best regards

To the old man in the sea, Actually I am 47. I hope you did not hurt your mind with the great comeback. Anyway, back to the post. The Aerosoft Twin Otter is going to be a nice addition to my fleet. Thanks Finn and Aerosoft and AirdailyX for your coverage.

Amen. The wingflex thing is kind of funny IMO. But in all seriousness the Twotter is looking good, and I'm also looking forward to the A318/19 and the accompanying improvements to the AAX. Keep up the good work!

try again, so much for the topic elementary school :)

A matter of perspective perhaps, old and deconstructive at this point nonetheless.
