PFPX in advanced beta !

[FS tool]. Mathijs Kok has just posted several new screenshots of Professional Flight Planner X. The software is apparently in "late beta" according to Aerosoft.

At which point it will be released--have one or two updates--then hang in update beta purgatory for all eternity while they work on PFPPXFPPX...

From "virtually finished" to "advanced beta" after 6 months.
How does that work? They're making such fast progress they're going back in time?
