So will the accurately modeled Edinburgh area blend with UK2000s Edinburgh Extreme airport? Could anyone report on this please?

Seems pointless to purchase if it doesn't.

I am using both UK2000s Edinburgh Extreme airport and Orbix Scotland. All looks fantastic! Blend is good - also with UK2000's Cumbernauld and Glasgow. I always find Orbix plays nice with the UK2000 airports. For best results - After installing Orbix go into their Scotland scenery folder and disable the 3 bgl files with EGPH in the filename. This will turn off the Orbix version of Edinburgh airport. Also make sure UK2000's files have a higher scenery priority in the FSX scenery config.

Excellent news...

Great Britain is now complete, pretty much...
I find that the UK2000 airports generally blend in well, after renaming the couple of Orbx files for the airports in question. The odd hole or so caused by mesh differences has so far not been an issue for me...

The screenshots aren't accurate though... it is not raining! :)
It must be the one day a year of sun... :)

Thanks for sharing your advice mfahey! I wanted to know about how to do this prior to buying and installing too...I'm sure others did too. Really appreciate it. Got a bit delayed buying Scotland over the weekend cos real life intervened but hope to do so todsy or tomorrow, my birthday :-) Scotland looks perfect with its rugged landscapes, highlands, lochs, cities and islands...sure its going to be a real delight in completing the island of Great Britain...Going to take advantage of the new lower revised prices for the England airports/airfields too and pick one of them up at the same time too. Choices, choices...
