CeraSim. New shots!

FSX. Here is another update for the rotorheadz! CaraSim is pressing along on their upcoming UH-60L Blackhawk in development. The VC is looking quite good, but still no in-sim exterior shots as yet. But hey, it's just nice to see these guys still alive! Looking good! [EDIT: We just added another shot!]

I wonder why developers insist on developing heli models for FSX... it's been proven time and time again that helies do not simulate well on any Microsoft flight simulator XXXX platform...

So what Platform does do Heli's then?

@p3, I think you just don't know how to fly them. I fly copters just fine. yes, some have better flight dynamics than others, but I have no issues. And can you tall us what game of platform does it better?

And please, please don't say Take on Helicopters...

DCS makes good helicopters, at least everybody talks well about Ka-50 and the new Huey.

Xplane is also known to be a good helicopters sim. Cerasim and Dodosim, have both good reputation in FSX. I want to buy a heli, so the UH60 might be a very good choice. I really like that cockpit.

Milviz is also developing a helicopter, but in that case I'm not sure about the flight dynamics, graphics will be great as they always do.

I really need to start looking into DCS!

There is a way to get realistic flight modelling of helos in FSX. Been proven twice already. HTR (integration of which is planned in the Milviz B407) and Majestic. The answer? A external flight model.

Maybe you should try the Dodosim Bell208 - that will surely convince you that modelling helicopters for FSX and achieving an incredible result in flight dynamics is possible and realistic - it is however up to the developer!
