Aerosoft Twin Otter - New Preview Set...

FSX/P3D. Aerosoft has posted yet another preview set of the upcoming Twin Otter X Extended. This set is particularly nice with plenty of "action" shots. Anticipation is building for this one. See inside for more.

Probably the worst quality screenshots I've seen in a long time, they look like someone photographed a computer screen with an old smartphone.

I run my simulator at 2560 x 1440 and there is no reason why they can't take a screenshot and then downscale to give a clean, crisp result.

Sorry, but this type of screenshot above is not how you successfully promote a product.

Because that's the point of the product and the preview...

Sounds cryptic, what do you mean?

Looks good to me, I don't know what anonymous is talking about. Also engine view from cockpit thumbs up.

I see that these pictures are edited. Also satured and focus efect in some chases.

With this kind of preview I don´t sure if they wanna show me the scenery Switzeland Professional or or Twotter

You hit the nail on the head, Magic Aviation. This sin't so much about the Twotter as it is about the landscape. Not 1 of these pics shows 1 useful pic of the twotter.

Hilarious 2 birds 1 stone.

Gosh...

It´s a beta tester who wanted to show the Twin Otter in scenery that suits it - nothing more nothing less.

At Aerosoft there is a high degree of freedom for beta testers to post screenshots and videos.
In the Aerosoft preview froum thate are tons of "official" screenshots from almost every possible angle as well as videos to watch.
We have not taken any money from customers yet for this "UNDER DEVELOPMENT" project.

I´m not sure what's going on in these times, but the FS community seems to get more and more uneasy.

If it was my wife I would know why, but here we have to do with both gender.

Excuse me for this post, but somehow it must be voiced out.

Perhaps there is a bit of frustration because FSX is no longer developed and whe hope addons to save us of an obsolet software and hope they will give us what FSX doesn't.

And perhaps many of us have been so much time in simulation that we want it to be as close as possible to reality... but, this is simulation, not reality.

In any case, there is so much injustice with this plane that I will buy it anyway...

Seriously, in general I am happy with Aerosoft products (Katana -yes, Felde-, Airbus Extended, sceneries) and this one looks really good for me. In fact, I hope a soon release.

Developers, don't surrender! (do not at least before releasing your products) :)

Pirx...

I think You point out the reasons very well :)

Well said Pirx! I'll show solidarity with you and the developers and pledge to buy a copy of this plane too. If I thought it wouldn't be up to scratch, I wouldn't. Let these anonymous cowards and other constantly-whining idiots keep moaning to themselves and don't even bother giving them a thought Aerosoft. What they say and their lack of any real intellect (being the reason they have to constantly post total rubbish) just gets laughed at by the not so vocal majority that are out here watching their self-humiliation and personal insecurity. The hobby and support for you is much bigger than them. You know these posts are not an indication of sales. The product always speaks for and sells itself after release so as Pirx says, don't ever ever surrender to these morons! Ignore them as we do most of the time. I never bother replying to any post I find childish, pointless or simply non-intelligent, even if they bother to put their name to it. Let the kids go on playing with themselves ;-)

Cheers ADX, Aerosoft, all other good developers and the non-vocal mature majority, the true friends of flight simulation.

Not everyone has an amazing computer and/or a monitor capable of that resolution. This is just some beta tester sharing some screenshots. Nice job being ungrateful.

You aren't by chance one of those people that moans when a developer doesn't post progress shots every day, are you?

Why do AirdailyX even post this DRIVEL ?????.

I came here to read mature, concise reviews, news, and reports about products, and yet all that is posted here is gutter-trash

AirdailyX should show some leadership and maturity and put an end to this childish pissing competition

Anonymous said...

Hey it's Aerosoft.... what did you expect?...honesty? the word isn't even in Aerosoft's vocabulary!

Anonymous said...

these screens are not edited

Anonymous said...

There are three videos, and many screens from different angles...

Anonymous said...

What's childish? I agree with the first post, the screenshots do not do the product any favor. It seems some people can't handle other posters criticism and opinion.

Anonymous said...

Hey Finn, I hope your wife doesn't read your post LOL You might be in REAL trouble then, which could in turn delay development :P

Anonymous said...

Pirx, Sid and Finn might be right some of the poster. But how many even not write any comments?
These kind of dicussions you don´t find at any A2A, Felde, PMDG products. There is no reason for such discussions due to the promoted material. Preview informations, pictures and videos are controled by the developer.
Developers could be happy to have constructive criticism by some writers to get known about some unskilled promotions.

I normally do not buy Aerosoft products (I do buy others) but will buy this plane the moment is released.

Lol

Not really...
At least she has a reason to act like she does.

I can say that perfectly are edited. After check again with these scenery I can´t take the same colours...

Route Clearance said...

Agreed. They certainly look edited to me as well. Over saturated and with the focus filter applied, wither in CS or Gimp.

Or possibly they were using SFX for ENB.

Its only enb...
