PA A330. The latest shots!

FS9/FSX/P3D. With all the talk over the BlackBox and Aerosoft A330's lately, I freaking totally forgot all about Project Airbus. They have been working on an A330 for some time now and we have the most recent shots inside. This project flew under our radar for a little bit with all the whole damn world attacking BB but something just popped in my head this morning: "oh yeah, PAirbus!" so glad I remembered! They were working on a VC for their A320 series but they quit that I guess... But there is a preview of the A330 VC inside and it looks good so far!

I'm sure this will be the best A330/A340 available for the whole FS.

Wilco, BlackBox aren't looking as good as this.

But really sad it's so quiet about that project. I read the engines for the A330 are done and they now work for the A340 engine.

Can't wait to fly some longhauls over the atlantic ocean.

It looks nice, I'm looking forward to hear some information about systems

It has no value by the real simmers if it doesn't have a functional FMC

Maybe VAS FMC? Not sure on those plans...

Please define "Real Simmers". If you portray anyone who who does not use a FMC, as not a real simmer. Hmmm, I fly the CoolSky DC9 and a few other jets that do not have a FMC and always seem to end up landing with the runway in front of me regardless of the weather. Truth is most Real simmers could fly without an FMC because they CAN use VOR's and NDB's to navigate. Unlike some who could not find a VOR if it was sitting on their lap.
Mr Poster, I am not saying you are indicating that you fall into this category, or you are unable to fly, I am just making a point about the phrase "REAL SIMMERS" and FMCs.
As for the plane in question PA330, it sure does look good.

What`s about A340-500/600 models?

Well, maybe "real simmers" was the wrong phrase to use here. What I really meant was that for advanced simmers, like me, it is nice to copy real world air-routes with real instrument departures and arrivals. Now, if the default GPS in FSX can handle all of this, SID's and STAR's etc., I have missed a lot.. I like planning my route, and I highly doubt that there would have been very few aircraft accidents if everyone flew through the same VOR's on arrival and each aircraft were making their own route before catching the localizer.

Surely it'll have an FMC? You can't fly an A330 by VOR!

Aerosoft is making an A330, but it's not due until next year. I'm pretty certain FSLabs will make an A330 as well once they have the base A320 systems completed, and they'll use that as a template.

The point about the FMC I was making was about the "REAL SIMMERS" comment not specifically about the A330.
As for the A330, Why is it not possible to tune to a VOR and the autopilot fly a radial inbound or outbound. Explain to me how it wont work. Please go ahead and explain it, I am very interested in the answer.

FSX native model?

If not... then Thomas Ruth Airbus series for FSX is still good.

Project Airbus should have sold there external model to BlackBox. I think its crazy a freeware product can look that much better than a payware. I'm just saying what everyone is thinking. BB has to step it up
