Hmmm... possibly?

FSX. Just looking at these amazing textures of this unknown African airfield one thing is certain: The independent developer is quite talented indeed.  If all continues to go well, could we be finally see Orbx quality airfields popping up in the region? Guess time will tell. In the mean time, have a look at these amazing texture works and tell him he is doing a great job while you are at it!

Look out Orbx! That looks great.

Anyone know where in Africa this airfield is? I'm very impressed so far Stew. In some ways reminds me of the style of Russ White in Orbx - attention to detail is beautiful - and it actually looks like Africa. Quality work! Bear fps in mind but you should have a fair bit more breathing space in Africa anyway so keep up this excellent work and the quality effort. With FTX Global soon to break this region and Asia have been crying out for enhanced airfields/airports for years so compatibility would be a good thing to bear in mind. Very impressed indeed. If you guys finish it, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed you do, I'm sure I'd like to have it. My advice would be don't be distracted by those that shout loudest, there are always a few 'children' on the forums. Best of luck mate...and your buddies!

I don't see how anyone can pro laid it's extraordinary quality when we have seen 30ft of a runway

Of course they can. Quality does not conflict with quantity. The comments refer to what's shown only. Yes, that's right, the 30 feet shown thus far. Any further compliments about quality would obviously depend on how it continues to progress. The rest is down to your own miscomprehension and obvious weakness in command of the English language (as is evidenced in your own comment). Read it again until you understand it properly. You'll get there if you try hard enough. Well done so far developer. Keep it coming!

Also to that comment: developers have to start somewhere dude.

Not everyone speaks English as well as those born into it. That's just an ad hominid. I would be wary of posting every project from FSDeveloper when many are hobby works that never see release and are posted for developer discussion

It's our goal to cover as much as possible community wide. The good thing is, you can filter what you don't want to see by simply not reading and commenting on posts you have no interest in. Just because you think this info doesn't belong doesn't mean everyone agrees with you.

Nice pics, the textures are way too big though, the aircraft looks like a matchbox-toy :)

I have to say that the texture quality looks amazing and that anyone that undertakes to create scenery for Africa deserves a hand!

Keep up the good work! Cant wait to see more!

The texture quality is amazing! And I for one can't wait to see more progress on this airport! And anyone developing scenery for Africa deserves a hand! Keep it up!

Well said indeed! I wholeheartedly agree with everthing you just said. More scenery in Africa. Excellent work so far. Please continue with it. I can't wait to see more either.
