"As you all know we have had a bumpy departure from the aircraft delivery center, which caused some unforeseeable deviations in getting everyone registered. We are still experiencing moments of interruption on our server, and for this we apologize for the inconveniences caused.

For Registration issues after purchasing from Just Flight and getting the dreaded "ORDER NOT FOUND" mes...

Hi,

The problem is not during the purchase and download but during the activation.
So an other place to buy it won't change anything because the activation server is managed Majestic.

It will become worse. I can't believe 10 hours later I have no resolution to the problem. More or less wasted my time trying to activate.

did you run the installer as adminstrator as well could be that perhaps or firewall just gussing as it sounds a bit strange you stil cant register

Simeon is doing an incredible job guys ! He answered every single question i had without being nervous etc..... He is very very cool ! Good guy and good team ! The q400 is a winner for sure !

That's why I usually wait at least a month after everything settles down for any new products, then I jump on the proverbial bandwagon. tsk tsk tsk.. People! use common sense and refrain from "I gotta-have-it-now" rush-ititus fever.

UAC off, antivirus and firewall off, running as admin = CANT CONNECT TO SERVER. What a great weekend!

Same thing here, reminds me of Simcity. I'm not affected as I got ahead of the queue by buying and activating it a few minutes after release @ JF.

For those who are considering the Q400, any first day DRM issues are not representative of the quality of the product. Just wait a day or 2 and see if the problems are resolved.

Should release on a business day then eh, releasing on a weekend then blaming the weekend for everything is a cop out

The Majestic release campaign was planned and executed with mistakes. The server resources (originally poorly designed) were eaten in the first hour which can be considered acceptable, given the quality of the product and the demand. The guy(s) attending the activation issues was overwhelmed and unable to help to many. People including me, still have activation issue and not being able to enjoy the package. That's 36 hours after the release...

The question remains, why doing the release on a weekend, where you have less staff to attend the support requests, you are unable to deploy additional servers, to cope with the demand, the obvious surge of customers is going to be huge given the free time. On top of all that you have an authorization system designed fairly restricting to a single point. The offline package idea was scrapped almost immediately just to keep online activation barely running. That effectively put me and many others in position, at the end of the release weekend yet to see activation. I've been told to wait for Monday. Well thanks!

Lot of lessons to be learned. I hope the PMDG have prepared better for their big day...

I had an issue at first on Saturday evening. It was dealt with quickly enough by the Majestic support team, who manually activated the purchase. I had it installed in minutes after that...
Just bear with it. Perhaps they underestimated our frenzied behaviour...
I am glad to see that simmarket has reassessed its pricing. It was first on sale for €59 or something (you won't see this anymore, I should have screenshot it...) (€49.95 plus VAT), but that has now changed to €49.94 including tax for EU and an international version for those outside the EU...
