Kamchatka? Discarded...

FSX/P3D. 25 euros for a lost airport in a lost world. Much improvements compared with FSX defaut scenery but a very disappointing work. This scenery does not reach a 25 euros standard payware. The least this team could have done is including more custom autogen, a few static aircrafts and some better quality ground and runway textures, and that just for 20 euros.
Was this product supervised by Aerosoft ?

Defaut Mountains (Koryaksky and Avachinsky) near the airport in FSX.

The same mounts in Kamchatka scenery.

Some bug here ?

Where is Kamchatka Yelizovo ?

Regarding the scenery and to help to understand the lost world a little bit better (use google translate becuz of the language barrier)>>>besides the AEROSOFT forum, also follow the russian simmers discussion here, for here u will find many questions and good critisism - yes, in the real lost world overthere there're also FSX simmers - Russia is a BIG country w many hardcore flightsimmers ;-)

Was this meant as a quick look kind of thing or as an actual review? While the screenshotys are informative, accompanying text would have helped immenseley in understanding why you, the reviewer, dislikes this scenery so much.

I can't comment too much on this product, as I've not purchased this for testing, but it did have a few things that made me wonder on this product. 1: Lost world, most simmers don't want fake airports or ones from the olden days. 2: When I glanced the pics of this product, you could easily tell this was not oh high quality design. 3: Reading the statement of all the Volcanic activity, their was no mention if their would be any of it added to the product. And finally the most important that I look at is, 4: Absolutely no true close up shots of the airport facility what so ever.It makes me wonder why none would be provided... Hmmm. But in saying that I gladly and warmly like when new teams start up and especially find them selves a great team as aerosoft to be their distributors, but #1 their must be a product control versus a cost management "over site" for these products, M.K. With out this, and other failures it can easily add up to look very bad/poorly upon the distributing company. I can also state the issue on another product from this distributore where it read straight out FSX/FS9. The issue was FS9 didn't come with the product let alone the fs9 was a down load link freely avaiable to every one.

25,99 Euro's!
No this is way too expensive.
They cannot present this for that price.

Save 25 Euros and play with the FS9 beta from the Russian Avsim site.

The price is high since they will sell few copies.

Fixed costs of development recouped (hopefully with profit) over potential sales volume equals price. Simple really.

That is implied for any product in any industry. But the real question here is if the product quality is worth the price in the first place. That is the point you clearly missed here.

And where I am most shocked here is this is the second product released from Aerosoft this year that is very clearly sub par behind Erfurt. Are they getting desperate? Because based on what I see, this is only a few notches above freeware.

"Some worlds should stay lost"

I love so much this one.. :)

Yeah.. true.
and even so, i regret my death sentence if it is one.
We need so much these new teams.

The price is wrong but the initial intention was right.
I will buy their next work.

I say this product is a few notches above freeware and I have seen a lot of freeware several notches above this. I'm not saying it's bad and yes we need these new teams, but the price point is just way off on this one. I do wish them best of luck on their next project. :)
