Well seeing that another Dev's F_L___'s is perhaps to be soon coming I think the Christmas release could end up to be a rush for Sales, if released with still existing issues. Hopefully everything will be fixed. Choice is good and I'd hate to see and unfinished product hit the lines do to perhaps a sales loss. I'm rooting for aerosoft to complete this bird but only if it's truthfully fly worthy with out glitches. We've seen other airbuses not make out so well in the past haven't we. Just IMO

This has been Aerosoft's first forte into a real complex airliner (fmc/fbw). It makes sense that the product is slightly delayed, but what is going on now is ridiculous. I bet they release this mid January.

I noticed that the Majestic Q400 is not on your "BILLBOARD." Do you have any guesses as to when that beta will conclude? I sure hope that the q400 undergoes a much smoother testing period.

Mid January? I'm going for August 2013 or later. It seems alot of ppl have already turned their attention to FSLABS. At least those guys know how to do things. Their Concorde X is the perfect example.

My guess is the 2nd Quarter of 2003. I'm with you in that FS Labs may be the way to go.

Aerosoft has such promise though. Their modeling is superb especially the the exterior.

Why can't anyone then focus on a A330, to counter PMDG 777?

They said that there was only a few things holding them back from release. The ND was one of them because it kept projecting crooked lines. They are still working on it though, but I am looking at the FSL myself too. If FSL comes out before the Extended then it will be a hard decision because I really love how the VC and Model of the ASE looks but man the systems on the FSL are by far advanced :)

If the FS labs releases first, there is no way I will get the airbus x.

FSLabs and Aerosoft are aiming for 2 completely different markets. It's pointless to compare the 2 aircrafts.
Aerosoft is going for the beginners arena of simming where people prefer to have minimal systems rendering.
FSLabs A320 is going for the hardcore market where people prefer what's on the inside than on the outside.
If you want to compare, you can compare the Aerosoft Xtended to Wilco Evolution and FSLabs to the likes of PMDG NGX.

+1

Wilco v. Aerosoft...Aerosoft wins in a landslide. I'm not a fan of Wilco products. Just awful!

slight delay ? it was scheduled for april 2012 then july 2012 if i'm not mistaken

slight delay ? they announced it for april then july if i'm not mistaken... 5 months of delay is not 'slight' delay... and according to mr. cock they couldnt solved problems yet. I wouldn't expect a release before August 2013, considering they failed to deliver CRJ already...

I wad exited about Airbus E 4 months ago! but now nah.. I couldn't care less, even if it's released tomorrow! I'll wait for FSL's Airbus.
Also Aerosoft are known for not fixing bugs as soon as theirs products hits the sales ex. Aerosoft_Bell UH1D & 1:st Airbus..still buggy!

I don't understand why they are busy posting the same kind of pictures again and again on their forum without any progress being made on solving the problems with the product.
Neither the developers nor the 'apparently' professional BETA testers are able to put a finger on where the problem is originating. Thinking of a release date at this time is pointless.

Wilco Airbus is much much better than Aerosoft Airbus (not talking about the Extended, obviously).Wilco is the best airbus to date. Period.
