I concur 1000%
Oh.. the woes......Paging file....Paging file...reboot reboot reboot after every long haul or using equipment such NGX in heavy scenarios. Or, if using default FSX scenery and the likes of NGX reboot after 2 successful flights...
There is an OOM patch on avsim coming out.Let's hope it works.
Shit happens man.Don't worry. It doesn't happen only to you.

S**T!>>>OH NOOO!!! but, but, but calmmmm down, the issue can be located...i've tried these ERRORS before in FSX and yes, it is WTF!?...and grrrr...the first time for me (2 years ago) was it a *traffic_bgl* or BMP texture on a or some AI aircraft from a russian military FP, it was compiled with success with AIFP, as soon as i took the traffic_bgl "out" of my FSX, no error message came up, later that year a FP with included traffic BGL/titles to the aircraft came out on AVSIM.SU for almost the same military FP, that i've had this error message with earlier, where i had compiled the traffic file with AIFP, but this time no problems with the trafic_bgl? strange...okey some months ago a new FP came for TAAG Angola airlines, i did everything after the book, textures on the right AI aircrafts and compiled with AIFP with success, but everytime i tried to load a flight from Angolas int airport, in my FS2004 & FSX this message (above) came, strange...i've contacts to diffrent nembers of the AIG (Alpha india group) so one of the nembers said the error could be in one of the textures on one of the AI aircraft, and yes the error came from a texture to the aia_b737-700w in Angolas new colors, as soon as i changed the texture on that plane, the error disappered, yup there was an error in the BMP file, maybe you should try to look at some textures on the AI aircraft you've installed, that is flying around in the same area where you got the error message, maybe the error could be located there? - hope this helps ;-) Sugiii
Autosave (e.g. FSUIPC) is your friend. Back in my x86 days I always save, quit mid-flight and restart. I also make a manual save at TOD.
The downsides of our hobby.
Oh boy do I know that feeling! But somehow I just can't seem to give up on it.
I'd miss it if I didn't have a blue screen every now and them....It's just a joke, enjoy and take the stress out of you life. The old way was best Peace brother Peace
Thanks all for the comments. Yes, CTD's are just a part of the hobby we all enjoy. And the reasons are many. But yes, I always keep going back time and again because there is nothing like a perfect and safe flight to make me smile on the inside. But with Dubai coming, the nearest decent airport is 1,200 miles away and I do not ever speed up the flight. So I hope for no bugs! The thing is, I usually do my flying ad night before bed as a successful flight makes me sleep better. So when this happens, I go to bed frustrated and upset and my wife now has to comfort my childish ass. So at least doing the comic made us laugh because she says that is exactly how I act! LOL! Although, I haven't broken anything... yet. There is 5,000 worth of junk at this desk so I had better not.Okay calm thoughts! Going to see SkyFall and come back and try again.Yes! Peace!((-D'))
Why I don't tweak the fsx.cfg and avoid addons that do changes in FSX.
Do you have the Enigma Hotfix installed? I downloaded it when it came out a few months ago and haven't experienced a single CTD since then. I think it's available on their forums under announcements.
I did and have had CTD's since then...
Just not as often so there was some improvement.
