Canada, the new attractive force ?

[Market]. Let's leave the Persian Gulf for a month or two, and think Canada. No need to be a  foreteller, the end of the year will be under the sign of the leaf.

Here is a list of the most possible canadian airports to be release before 12/31/2012.

FS Dreamteam is about to release Vancouver CYVR for FSX.
Fly Tampa is about to release Montreal CYUL for FS9/FSX/P3D.
OryxSim Toronto is still expected for FSX.
And Orbx has already announced its Bella Coola for FSX/P3D (British Columbia).
Simaddons was working on a Calgary airport but no more news unfortunately.

There are still some places for new canadian projects : Edmonton Intl or Quebel Lesage... Kamloops airport would be wonderful too. Or Squamish, in the north of Vancouver. Moncton, in New Brunswick is becoming a good intl airport too.

These two screens made with Google Earth are showing all the new available pathways once the incoming airports are released :

I'm still hoping ORBX will do Kelowna or even Kamloops. Vernon would be great too. I am excited for FSDT YVR but am a bit worried about performance with V+3 and PNW. But seeing as it's my home airport, I'll end up getting it anyway. The Canadian prairies need a little attention. Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary and Edmonton.

I could also really see an ORBX CYYJ, CZBB and CYXX.

I already have a Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, which are quite adequate for my purposes. I see no reason to shell out another $30 apiece for something I already have. Calgary or Edmonton, on the other hand, really have not been done before.

...even CYFF...

And while I'm biased--developing the west coast of Canada would connect the American Northwest to Alaska--in just about every way--for freight hoppers to short-hoppers, to heli-touring, etc.

Vancouver also connects Canada to the Orient--well the list is endless. It's a really fun area to fly around in--whether you're in a Cessna to 777! Not to mention Westjet's now flying the Dash 8--hint hint...

And the same thing applies for the rest of Canada--from the Northwest Territories/Yukon (there are a bazillion smaller airstrips up there because you can only get to these remote areas by plane in winter) to Nova Scotia/PEI. Lots for simmer to explore here!

You'll be missing out then won't you.

I think that's the whole point. I won't be missing out on anything, except the opportunity to blow a couple hundred bucks.

To that end, it would be nice to see a little more done for Alaska (ie, full ORBX Alaska package) to really bring the experience home.

Orbx is about to release SAK (South Alaska) and already have airfields planned for the area. They also have CEF4 coming, so they're not ignoring Canada.
