texturing somewhat cartoonish, Flight Beam seems to be more ahead than them with texturing specially since KPHX. To me all textures of all buildings in FSDT sceneries look the same, don't know why, FSDT is top producer but texturing they seem to be somewhat stuck since Geneva.
FSDT is of the type that in renderer preview shots are the best, but in the sim they kind of look a bit un-realistic exactly because of textures, they are a top notch designer but they need to think on making it a tad better. Whereas FT in the sim looks exactly as it should in real world.
Speaking as a Vancouver local, I have to say they got it pretty darn good. And the dynamic shadows are fantastic. Just hope us PNW users don't suffer to much frame wise. Very much looking forward to this release

I thought it was a LAX patch. FSDT airports all look like the same airports.
I prefer ORBX because there r much better.
Yeah I agree about looking the same, but can't compare with ORbx who only makes GA airports, completely different type of products..
I agree. FSDT is excellent in optimizing the FPS, but for the texture quality Flight Beam is ahead (and for me Fly Tampa is ahead of both).
Yeah, I always forget Flytampa as they haven't done anything for a while. But, I agree flytampa is the best of the best for textures.

FSDT's textures look fine in my sim. I think it's just a bit overkill.
