FSX. The first Orbx airport dedicated to US Central Rockies (CRM). 7 cm/pixel resolution on KJAC and Grand Teton area. And on the apron, several "FLOW" technologies.
ORBX JACKSON HOLE KJAC
Version tested : FSX V.1.0
File : 4,3 MB in 3 files.
Installation : a bit tricky.
Manual : yes (23 pages in english).
Framerate : very friendly on mid-core and high-core processors.
The bad :
* Tricky installation. The three files must be installed separately one by one. It's not that it is difficult to perform but some people (like me) forgot to install the second and third file. If you want NA US Central Rockies, don't forget to install it too. And the last library file 120509...
The good :
* Very large area of 450 square miles.
* Very high resolutions (7 cm/pixel) on Grand Teton range and on the airport.
* Amazing diversity of landscapes in the same scenery (lakes, rivers, mountains, hills...)
We are not posting too much screenshots of the airport here. You can find more of them at the bottom of this test, in product page. The animations and the high resolution of the ground textures totally fit with the surroundings.
Of course, everything can be configured in the Control panel, even the static aircrafts.
Grand Teton chain of montains : seamless integration with US Central Rockies scenery.
The Grand Teton range in spring season.
The Grand Teton chain in Winter and at dusk.
KJAC at dusk.
The airport itself includes many gorgeous scenes (PeopleFlow waiting for their plane, Presidential plane parking and surrounded by special services).
The latest technology, StaticFlow, brings an unbeated rendition of static aircrafts...
PeopleFlow everywhere and and a newcomer, the dispatcher.
In the next step, passengers are boarding. Who will be the first editor to make it ?
FS Dreamteam or.... Orbx ?
The city of Jackson Hole included many custom buildings.
Lake Jackson.
