France VFR ready to disclose 3D automation

"3D automation", a sort of algorythmic 3D generation..?

FS9, FSX and any simulator. 2 months ago, the french designer, showed us some screens about some new autogen generator. In a few days or so, the team is likely to explain its new technology and its second part, the 3D automation.

It took almost a year to develop these new tools with the secret hope to produce more sceneries, faster and for any possible simulator. A quest for the holly Grail of scenery design ?
These new tools are based on algorythms. The autogen generator is one layer. It can position on a scenery FSX defaut autogen (trees and buildings) and custom 3D models as well : new kind of trees, houses etc.
The 3D Automation (in french, 3D procĂ©durale) is also based on algorythms and will position more complex models on the scenery, like multi-storey houses. We suppose that these algorythms can perfectly adjust typical autogen according to the region, weather, period of time etc.

According to France VFR, on their forum, the PHOTO HD range of sceneries are the first layer.
The autogen generator is the second layer.
And the 3D automation is the third layer.
You can add a fourth and fifth layers with landclass, specific traffic, clouds etc.. (France VFR has developed these kind of tools via Simulation Data subsidiary).
So the "Grail" is to develop an integrated tool capable of generating a full detailed scenery with every components. I already said that a few designers have developed these kind of tools as well.
In a couple of days, we will eventually see what is the potential of this technology....

Some area in Paris, developed with France VFR 3D Automation.
