French designer France Touristique Scenery has just sent this morning (to his customers) a dozen of screenshots of his incoming Corse vol. 2. (Corsica full HD). The volume one was already an amazing first with 50 cm/pixel photoreal images and a 5 m (interpolated) mesh definition.
First screenshots of the south part of Corsica show a lot of eye-candies, the military airfield of Solenzara and the extrem south point of Lavezzi islands. It's a little bit to soon to get the whole idea of the product (we dont see Ajaccio airport, nor the Bonifacio harbor) but at least it will be possible to fly accross the island with same resolution.
In the past, France Touristique Scenery also unveiled a real know-how in airport designing (see their previous title, Airports of Reunion), so let's hope there will be a third addon with airports full coverage. Release date has not been announced yet but it is a matter of hours maybe 2 or 3 days max. Remember that flying on a 50cm/pixel environment has its cost ; 7 gigabits of datas. You need a fast internet connection.
