More destinations for Broome

FSX/P3D. In a first post, a few weeks ago, i told you about Alice Springs, and two others destinations near Perth and in the East coast of Indonesia (Juanda Surabaya).
Here are three more. In Australia. The good point ? They are not too far from Orbx Broome YBRM.

The first one, Darwin, is a large package from Ants Aussie, developed in summer 2009.

Darwin international YPDN is 600 nm away from Broome. And this package includes many other points of interests, like Darwin city and other airfields. Here are a few shots from Darwin Intl. Ground textures are still fine but the main terminal is a little bit old with its blank low def textures.

The second package is from OZx this time, developed in 2011/2012.

First airfield, Balgo Hill YBGO, a rusty sand strip in the desert, with a runway length of more than 4000 feets. Very few détails but approximately 350 Nautical miles from Broome. Nice for VFR flights or for a propeller !

But my favorite airport will be Fitzroy Crossing, a small/mid-size airport with a few installations and a hard runway of approximately 4300 feets. Distance ? 200 nautical miles...  A perfect point for rotations to Broome, on my point of view !

Thanks !

Did you miss our first part  ?

Coincidentally, YBGO Balgo Hill was actually my first ever scenery creation!
And yes Fitzroy is a very nicely done airport. Outback Oz is great for flying.
