[FS9/FSX/P3D..]. The new plan and navigation utility announced by the developers of Topcat seems to be ready... finally. And Aerosoft will distribute it since the German editor has posted a video this morning.
A side by side comparison with FSCommander, explaining similarities and what's new ect would be great. I love my FSC, but am always looking for new improved software. Will this run without connection to internet .Or must their be a continual connect ect. Looks bloody great by the youtube vid. great work guys, and a price would be nice also, just a baseball figure will do.
You'd think that a company like Aerosoft would have the funds to put together a more professional video. I mean seriously, is an English voice with a heavy German accent that is at times totally incomprehensible the best that can be done to explain and promote this product? Shocking!
Not interested in the least, given their track record. Not prepared to buy this only to have it abandoned while they fiddle with something else for a couple of years. FSC does the job nicely.
If you know topcat tool, you know that is an advanced developer with high quality standards. PFPX is a must have product for me and many of my FSX friends.
Hi "Anonymous May 24, 2013 at 5:05 AM". Yes of course it has a german accent.....I am German. Hopefully your german is without any accent? As an Airline Pilot a can assure you that the ATC Controller in the world understand me.But beside my personal feeling about these kind of comments, I can also anwer you some serios questions. You dont need a steady Internet connection. You can save DATA of weather and Tracks for the OTS for use later on. Even days later you can use the "old" weather. But for accurate flightplanning you need the internet for actual Winds, Notams, Metar and TAF . You must activate the Product before first use. Thats all you "must". The video was made from us to show how easy and fast the flightplanning is with the PFPX, you dont have to be an Expert. But the Expert´s will see that you can edit the planning by your own choise. ETOPS/EROPS longhaul flightplanning is normaly very complicated, but with PFPX it is nearly easy ;-) Of couse, for accurate planning you still need to know some details. But most steps can be done automatically by one click. To demonstrate all features of PFPX the video would be hours. Just try and you will see. All Airports in the world with ICAO Code can be selected. Airports, Aircrafts, Airways and the Database (Navigraph or Aerosoft) can be edited. I happy to answer your questions. Just email me via pfpx at gmx dot com . Best regards and thanks for all comments, critical and positive (excluding personal) ;-)

This looks like a fantastic tool. Very much looking forward to this!

Hope they use a better protection with it than usual with Aerosoft products (which seem to be pirated a lot). These guys deserve A LOT of sales.
You live freely if you haven't a reputation to lose. :)

not interested in this anymore anymore... Developers just took us for idiots since months saying it is ready every months.
FSC is perfect, no need to buy pfpx
"FSC is perfect, no need to buy pfpx"
These are 2 totally different products! FSC intents to be a moving map with rudimentary flight-planing option.
PFPX is a very advanced tool for operational flight plans. If you don't even know the difference you better stuck with FSC, no offense.
What he said - Completely different set of tools...
sorry, I was meaning FSB, FSBuild. My fault.
Believe me, you are not ready to get PFPX in your hands!
