Partnership Terminated - RE: Boeing 717...

FS9/FSX/P3D. TFDi Design and the FSDGroup have canceled their development partnership in relation to the Boeing 717. At this time, the FSDGroup has stated they will continue 717 development independently - no word from TFDi Design. This posting is simply a notification for those interested in the project. See the official statement from the FSDGroup inside.

The statement as posted on the FSDGroup's Facebook page:
------------------------------------------------------
We all are making mistakes you know and this is very good because we are just human beings. What if we were Robots or sort of Artificial Intelligence ?
Well By all this I was going to say that our partnership with TFDi Design is terminated due to incapability to make an agreement between us. We started to make some work with them without having sort of Contract letting it down to later time and at the same time doing and writing things that brought us to the point of concerns and misunderstandings.
Of course there are some other Aspects that we will not bring to the public.
Now what happens with 717 you would ask. Nothing Changed I would answer. We will Continue to work on SSJ-100 and 717, and there is nothing that stop us to do so as 717 VC is Property of FSDGroup.net. External Model will come later on.

Thank you very much and stay tuned.

lol. I'll be honest, most of us saw this coming a mile off. Both groups are just 'greyware'; they put out lots of shiny renders and promises but their ability to develop much beyond that is severely handicapped. My predictions are they'll both ditch these projects in the near future, start a new one claiming it won't be like the last one, and then ditch it again. On some level I wish ADX wouldn't report on these kind of developers, as the likelihood of their work ever being available is so small...Having said this, I'd love to be proved wrong.

I certainly appreciate your point of view but it is of course impossible for us to determine which projects will make it to completion. I have been pleasantly surprised several times in the past!

We will report even the smallest chance if it's a possible product for FS9/FSX/P3D.

Hi,

Very sad for us waiting for a decent 717.

As it looks now we are not going to have it by the end of the decade.

How FSDGroup can develop two airplanes and two airports (Riga & Ventspils) at the same time ?

I remember their 737 Classic series should have been out last year (theirs statement), but we never saw anything more than a couple of preview shots.. No shock.

Are you kidding me...!!??!!
I wish the boys over at Skysim would just add some new textures and sound to their old 717 (inside and out)but like everyone else they don't see the 717 as a priority. Too bad. It's a really cool plane. How many more new a320s or twin otter projects will happen before a 717. My guess, at least two each.
