FS9/FSX/P3D. Update : Now released. Gary Summons, founder of UK 2000, has confirmed that its Leeds (ENGM) airport will be released tomorrow morning on its website, followed by other simshops. This is going to be an EVENT. For three reasons :
This is a first interesting airport release in weeks. The previous one, San Diego, from Latin VFR, has been done more than a month ago.
Second, this is the first payware airport to be installed over Orbx new EU England. I would like to bet that Gary has taken care of this and has adjusted its photoreal textures to fit Orbx England.
And last but not least, FSX users will discover for the first time the airport of Leeds-Bradford, since the last one, from Mexsim, was designed for FS9 only.

Just noticed an issue with FTX Orbx Products perhaps. As this applies "THIS TIME TO EU ENGLAND" what's to say this won't effect this region also. written by Gary Summons, his "quote" from his UK2000 Leeds about to come out.
" There is bug in the FTX product that prevents any FSX animated Jetway appearing at Leeds.
This a problem, as Stand 8 is a FSX animated Jetway.
FSX Jetways are different from all other objects in FSX, normally when you use an exclude file, only objects in a lower scenery layer is effected by that exclude. But Jetways are excluded regardless and layers. So to make FSX animated Jetways appear, there must not be any exclude in any layer for that Jetway location.
This problem is caused by Orbx making massive horizontal exclude file across England. There are some holes in this exclude for big airports so those Jetway are kept, but they did not leave a hole for Leeds airport.
Now I can alter their file and make it work, but it's copyrighted so I cant upload it.

My point is this, if FTX is going to use massive Exclude area's what's Dev's gonna do when designing airports requiring animated jetways.
And this will be the first airport I will not buy this year of the "interesting" airports. Looks as bad as in the previews. Sorry Gary, take your time and do your airports better since you showed that you can, so what are you waiting for?
Too bad you can't turn this into another FS soap opera, since Orbx have already shared a fix for this problem in their exclude before Leeds was even released. Check the Orbx forums. JV also commented in that thread that Gary Summons has never contacted Orbx about working together even though they are quite happy to do so. Seems to me that UK2000 appear to be a bit silly operating like a lone cowboy instead of pickup up the phone.

I have all of the airports and I especially like their night appearance. No other company has such a beautiful blue edge lighting.
Really? UK2000 stuff is well below par in quality, no matter which way you look at them.
