PMDG 777

FSX. PMDG are being rather quiet as we all know, and the anticipated release of the 777 I am hoping is just around the corner....in the mean time, here's some pictures I found recently of the VC and exterior:

Sometimes I wonder which developers approach is better: to shut up, keep quiet and release with a bang (aka Fly Tampa) or to kill us softly, pardon, slowly and release with a bang (Majestic Software)
/// I know they haven't released yet, but they way they keep updating is a pure torture ;)

What I'm curious about is the 744 V2

Isn't the 744 v2 scheduled for release AFTER the 777 release? When that is, is hard to guess...
The PMDG 777 should be released this year (I really hope) - but you never know with PMDG... :) - perhaps in the summer?

The 744 v2? Don't know... I doubt a release this year - if so, perhaps in the end of the year...

Hi,

Do you think the 777 of Captain sim is an alternative ?

Thanks,
Barney
PS: I tried to post from safari but apparently it doesn't work.

Hahaha, is that a joke ?
Common we are talking about PMDG here ! You remember , the JS41, the NGX.

No it is not a joke.
We all know that PMDG is the best you can get but for instance for a 737 I bought the iFly in a time where there was no alternative yet available for FSX, and I'm still really happy with it.

So now if the 777 of Captain sim is good enough and flyable with a normal PC then why not ? Does it worth 39€ ?

Well... maybe because the Captain Sim isn't up to the same simulation standards as PMDG...
And I have the Captains Sim version under suspicion of being quite a frame-hog...
