Armi Project Riyadh ? Not so bad !

FSX. I am still looking for a good airport near Fly Tampa Dubai X to enjoy this huge scenery. I finally found Armi project King Khalid OERK in Saudi Arabia. Not the highest quality but a decent work. My only disappointment ? The ground textures on the apron. 15-17 euros / 20-22 $ would have been a fair price but this one is a King size airport...

I had to add mipmaps to ground textures in the fs9 version. The 'crawlies' were as bad as at Newark. Otherwise a nice scenery, well sited for interesting flights.

Anywhere outside the runways (and after the first half of all exit taxiways, FSX detects an aircraft crash.

There is no excuse for this.

I just have to comment about this one. I bought it and had massive jaggies and the trees had black blocks on them. I then got my money back (only time I have ever done that). With no other airport any good in range I bought it again and thought I would try to fix it. I used Modelconverter X and resaved the trees to .dds files BUT then I found out a windows update had changed my nvidia settings. So I put my settings back (my anti-jaggies settings are on SOH forum under guides - links guide p38man)

Then I tested it and it was not just good but awesome with no jaggies at all and in fact one of my favourites - at sunrise is beautiful.

(note however in the meantime that I am also running addon converter x with it and always with crash detection off. I haven't tested by putting original tree files back)

Looks amazing for FS2000!

I don't think they're porting it up to be FS2000 native unfortunately, so it'll be missing some advanced functions like textures and models etc. :(
