Truly well done. The improvements compared to KLAX seem to be only "small" details, you won't recognize them at once but they are impressive though. Now there are also night reflections of the terminal windows on the ground visible. It looks like a significant amount of time went into the "night shadows" backed into the textures. The water paddles also improve the overall appearance. I hope though it is not going to climb to a new alltime high when it comes to the price.
Yes, in the "Dynamic Shadows Preview" link under Vancouver Backdoor at the end of the slideshow it claims that release is in December 2012. When a developer can give a release timeframe within thirty days, it must be pretty well done. Sometime in the next 16 days, simmers' dreams will come true.
