Orbx is the only company in the FS community that will release an airport like this for more than 26 euros and for FSX only and get a pass...

Whilst others will get beaten down for asking 20 euros for a medium sized airport.

ORBX have great marketing. Extra airbrushed/polished screenshots will get you drooling and wont mind the price. No doubt they have 'invented' nice things for FS but the functionality of their sceneries is very poor. Is this why they abandoned bigger airports? Their FPS are usually below zero...

I've flown to Milford Sound before during CPL mountain flying training and Martin's Bay is one way to get into Milford sound (via the coast) from Queenstown should cloud ceiling/visibility prevent a more direct approach via one of the saddles. I've commented on this in the Orbx forums.

This is why I'm not surprised that they tried to model NZMJ as part of the Milford sound package, I think they're trying to recreate the whole "Flightseeing" route from QN to MF.

Orbx may have great marketing and a slick company profile, but you cannot argue with their products which are the best in the business. I would rather buy a €26 airport like this than some generic half baked €20 airport from Aerosoft which publishes almost anyone's crap these days.

Or perhaps spending €34.90 per France VFR region? How is that good value compared to Orbx's €32.76 for all of England? I think you need to get some perspective of what good or bad value for money is in our hobby.

But it's like comparing VW to Porsche. You want a Porsche but can only afford a VW. Sorry to hear that.

After witnessing the half-baked crap and drivel that other publishing houses are putting out this year...my moneys on Orbx for the future, the whole of New Zealand is AMAZING an Milford and Queenstown are the cherrys on top
