Wow! This sounds amazing. I wonder if my hard drive is large enough for it.

Well even at that cost it will give many photoscenery providers a run for their money...unless they can cut their prices or provide additionally in some way as well. But even now for the cost of 3 or 4 VFR sceneries from franceVFR for example, you can have the whole world from Orbx, not exactly for real granted but sometimes scale trumps detail...

Be really nice to have places like Thailand, Pakistan and Spain for example to have better textures, all have a very fair mix of dry and green land...always felt that FS always cheated Asia out of landclass and improved texturing and Spain really has alot of dry yellow/dusty areas too, FS depicts the whole country as green...

Not impressed at all if they change the whole default landclass texture. The colorization in the pictures looks OK, but it won't be as good as real-life textures as we see in photoreal alternates. I would prefer to fly in countries/regions that look more like the real deal than just a cacaphony of texture repetitions. Besides they have yet to provide a better tool for install/replacement of their landclass and the default landclass. There are so many complaints about scenery.cfg being rewritten or messed up by their tool. With the economy as it is in the USA, $200 is way too overkill for me, despite the assurance that there will be perpetual free upgrades.

As far as I've seen, Brad, they are not providing what you are talking about, I mean data. Only the textures/autogen.
