FSX (and soon FS9). Second 3D Automation generated scenery after Haute-Normandie. Thrilling visuals. Everything still smooth on a I5 3,4 Ghz / 6 MB.
Now the questions : What France VFR is waiting for expanding this technology to other areas in the world ? (or to licence it?). Alsace is nice but not enough!
Good news :
* Smoothness on a I5 3,4 ghz / 6 MB / ATI 6570 including in large areas like Strasbourg.
* Buildings autogen have some night light textures.
* Some other improvements in homes/buildings geometry, from Haute-Normandie.
* For previous owners of Alsace VFR V.1 (in Simmarket), the new installer does not require a previous installation of Alsace V.1. Your previous bought is recognized.
* File size has apparently been improved : 5 GB of datas.

Looks kind of cartoonish and very blurry ground textures. Would like to see Orbx work on France or Germany after the U.K.

just find your glasses and try the scenery ! it's really something else than the 30sqr miles of orbx sceneries :-)
