RSDT announces Bucharest Baneasa.

Just a mere 5 miles from their previous project LROP2009, Romania Scenery Design Team has begun work on the much smaller airport Baneasa.

After their truly amazing Prahova Valley 2011 project which I was very much impressed with, I was expecting their next project to be… well… bigger… and… further away…
I just hope the airport comes with some of that amazing photo scenery similar to the quality of their Prahova Valley.
If you haven't downloaded the freeware Prahova Valley scenery yet, I highly recommend you do. Even though it's a remote area, I downloaded it last year just to see what the hype was all about. I found myself flying around the 60km area for over an hour. It just looks that good! The down side is there aren't really any GA airports in the scenery area so you have to fly into it and back out into default FS scenery to land at the nearest airport… Google Earth shows a couple grass airfields in the area, but they didn't seem to make their way into the scenery.  Bummer.
