Orbx South New Zealand : hot test part 1

FSX. South New-Zealand is another very large scenery. Of course, everything has been customized here, textures, mesh and autogen. But what about airports ?

Orbx SOUTH NEW-ZEALAND Part 1 (airports)

File : 3 GB
FPS : very friendly on mid-end to high-end processors.
Manual : yes.
Price : 40 Australian dollars (42,5 US $ / 32 euros)

I started to test South NZ yesterday and despite the price, was amazed by the landscapes. If you don't have a Ph of Geography, you will probably think that New-Zealand is a wide green plain. It's NOT ! This country is melting mountains, lakes, valleys.

The bad :

* As usual with Orbx (same comment with Central rockies), we would have liked some high quality airports/airfields already availble to enjoy the scenerybut considering the price of South NZ, the australian editor is releasing new extensions slowly and bit by bit.

* Te Anau Manapouri : poorly detailed.

The good :

* People flow included in all airports.

* Custom terminals in every airport.

Milford sound

Christchurch Intl. airport. Terminals have been reworked, but it's far from Orbx best class airports (Melbourne, Camberra). Someday ?

Christchurch. Many custom buildings and hangards
 around the airport.

Nelson airport.

Te Anau Manapouri...

Queenstown

Queenstown. A dozen of PeopleFlow on the airport.

Blenheim airfield

In Blenheim airfield, several PeopleFlow.
There are other scenes like that, here around.

A small airfield on the easter coast.

Nelson main terminal

This test will be followed by an extensive test on the Country, landscapes and autogen.
