The guys over at GotBush.org are in the process of completely revamping the classic Otter by Eugene Heyart. I must say, Mr. Heyart has been quite missed in the FS community. This is a guy who brought many freeware aircraft to market that I still enjoy to this day.
Well, I am not the only person missing Mr. Heyart. The GotBush guys have been trying to get in contact with him for over a year now with no avail. They have decided to press on with their project anyway. Actually, the work so far looks quite good. Their plan is to completely redo the interior and exterior with new completely new textures, rework the current gauge textures, add more gauges, repaint the panel, add new liveries, and of course, port it over to FSX.
Naturally they desire to get the appropriate permissions from Mr. Heyart who doesn't seem to b responding to their emails. If you happen to be in contact with Mr. Heyart, shoot him a word as I for one would really like to have this new version to the Otter. You can find out more on the GotBush Website.
